Tasty Thai food with convenient parking in the Garden Home area. They also seem to do a good take out business. I enjoy the medium spice level as it actually has some kick. The curry sauces are made more thick. The service is also very quick. The only downside for me is they do not serve alcohol, but they do have good tea.
Ploys Thai food. I have been to this restaurant several times recently and every time I am more impressed with the cooking. The Pad thai is the best in town with great portion size. My guest had the drunken noodles and they were excellent. The restaurant is always very clean and the staff is always friendly and I never have to wait long for my order.
I have love the crab puffs. This restaurant has great authentic Thai food. I highly commend it to anyone.
Great Local Find. We were pleasantly surprised to find an excellent Thai restaurant very close to us in SW Portland (maybe Beavertown). We wandered in to what used to be a Blockbuster Video and were pleased to find a nicely renovated space holding a very tasty Thai restaurant. We played it safe with Pad Thai and a Drunken noodle dish but our friends have had the duck and catfish -- all of which was excellent. The bonus was that KMHD jazz was playing in the background.
Finally found a pad Thai dish that wasn't sweet & over cooked. Both of us had very tasty meals. We will be frequent patrons.
A Halal thai restaurant which serves great food.
Must stop on your trip to Portland.
Drunken Noodles :5/5
Chicken fried rice:4/5
Chicken satay: 3.5/5
Spring rolls: 3/5
I’ve been a semi-regular for both dine-in and take-out for about 6 years.
Food is consistently good and staff have always been friendly. Like any restaurant, there have been a few occasions where mistakes were made but they’ve always been sure to make it right.
I especially appreciate that the spice level is consistent. There are some places where “medium” can be anything from a dull sizzle to face melting depending on who is in the kitchen.
Honestly, this was probably the best Orange Chicken I've ever had in my life! Not too sweet and the perfect amount of crispyness without too much breading. The larb salad was really great too. Prices were about what you would expect. Service was quick and the staff was friendly too. We will definitely be back! ❤️👍🏾
I was surprised to eat pretty good Thai food when visiting my BIL. We ordered a bunch of stuff for our family/party of 8 and shared everything family style.
Appetizers: fried calamari, chicken satay, fresh veggie rolls, papaya salad - were all delicious and perfect balance between fried apps and fresh veg.
We ordered a bunch of classics: crab fried rice, pad see ew which were all spot on. And for something special we got the Chu Chee Jumbo Prawn ($17). Kinda pricy for the serving size but the flavor of the chu chee curry was kicking, and the prawns were huge.
Unfortunately, we had no room for dessert after that feast.
Food was amazing! Unfortunately I ordered on a short staffed, busy Friday night but the staff was very friendly and the food made it worth the hour wait. First time trying crab puffs and they were AMAZING and spice level on pad thai was perfect!
Ploy's has very good lunch specials: a variety of curries and noodle dishes are available, and they are all great. Their Thai Iced Coffee is strong and sweet, and I don't understand why anyone goes to the Starbucks next door when the coffee is so good here.
I have NEVER had such amazing Asian food in my life 🤌🏼! Unsure if all Thai food is this amazing or it’s just this place’s quality?? But yeah. The quality. The flavor. The service. The pricing. Only complaint I have is how close it is to my house 🤣 it’s across the street and that’s dangerous to my diet ⛔️ ⚠️ 🤣🤣😝🥳🥰🫶🏼 💗 my favorite dishes are the sweet basil and lemon 🌿 beef fried rice, orange chicken, and the curry puffs with the fresh sweet cucumber 🥒 jalapeño sauce 🤤🤤😍 ***ALSO **** DO NOT ORDER THIS FROM GRUB HUB!! Grub Hub rounds up the prices on the menu to the nearest 10th so the $15 plate was $20 and the $6 appetizer was $9.95 on grub hub! (My sister ordered hers from grub hub) but the door dash doesn’t do that. (Yes we compared 😂)
DELICIOUS food!
Came here with my sister who was raving about how amazing the food was here.
When we first walked in we were greeted by a very attentive hostess who guided us to our table and quickly took our orders. The food came out just as promptly.
We ordered spring rolls with tofu, pad kee mao, and a yellow curry with chicken. We ordered the entrees to be EXTRA hot, and they did not disappoint .
Spring rolls were delicious and fresh, with a savory peanut sauce. 8/10
Pad kee mao was smoky, tangy, umami deliciousness! Noodles were chewy and seasoned, chicken was succulent, and the veggies were cooked to perfection. I cannot get this dish out of my mind. 11/10!
Yellow curry was tasty, full of chicken and veggies. It was well seasoned and came with rice. 9/10
Definitely the best Thai food I’ve had in Beaverton and will be returning ASAP.
The food was great. Very delicious. I didn’t ask them to make my drunken noodles spicy but next time i will because they are usually best when quite hot. I would have given them 5 stars but they need to make their interior and decor better. It just looked empty.
This is my favorite restaurant. I have been going there couple of years. Food has been excellent. Service is very good staff is very friendly. This is also my wife, is favorite restaurant .we have taken a lot of our friends there they all love it thanks to the owner. Ali
Keep it up. The prices are very reasonable!
