This has to be one of the top Thai restaurants in the Portland metro area. Incredibly kind of staff and a welcoming environment. The ingredients are the best quality and every dish I've had is incredible. Highly recommend City Thai if you're in the area.

The culinary experience is unparalleled, offering the finest Thai cuisine that compelled me to revisit twice within a week in the company of friends. The staff exudes warmth and friendliness, contributing to an overall exceptional dining experience. Remarkably, the cost is surprisingly affordable. If I could, I'd give it an extraordinary 6 stars out of 5. Truly, City Thai has captured my heart with its lovable ambiance and delectable offerings.
City Thai is one of my favorite restaurants in Portland! I come here on a weekly basis, and I have never been disappointed. The food, service, and intimate atmosphere are all stellar. My personal favorites are the pineapple curry and the panang curry. I have ordered take out several times as well and have continually been impressed. 10/10!
This was a really nice place for a relaxing Saturday lunch outside. A delicate fresh shrimp salad roll with peanut sauce was delicious and we added Pad See Ew (fat noodle) for a tasty treat. Try the Thai ice tea with lemonade for a sweet tea drink.
The staff seemed hesitant to interact with my daughter and me. The orange chicken was standard fare previously frozen breaded chicken product. The sizzling tropical plate offered a wonderful variety of produce, 1 shrimp, 2 pieces of chicken, and was heavy with soy sauce, light on the spice. The rice was excellent. The Shirley Temple was mostly grenadine.
Favorite Thai restaurant in Portland. Cozy, intimate, relaxing atmosphere. Very nice owners. Great for take out and dine in. Consistent. Generous portions. Very well priced. Recommend their curries and lava noodles. Highly recommend soy curls for vegetarians, very tasty.
My now Go-to Thai restaurant. I end up ordering 3 meals because I can't decide on just one, everything I've tried has been fantastic. Definitely get a Curry dish, literally any of them, my favorite is the Panang Curry, bold flavors, slight spice, so creamy ❤️❤️❤️
Came here for lunch and was not disappointed. Got a couple lbs of crawfish and holy smokes was it delicious. We got like 4/10 spice because well, we all know that Thai hot is hot as heck! It tasted so freaking great. Like I've had down south. The little craw friends were pretty big too! Delicious af. The wings were plump as heck too!!!
Tucked away in SW with low key ambience. I've been here a few times but I live in SE so this is quite the adventure. Ordered take out and picked it up. Large portion couldn't finish my Pad See Ew. Wife had some yummy chicken stir fry. Very friendly staff, helped me order spicy but not to spice, quick but good, vegetables and meat not all noodles, order was spot on, I would suggest eating there for best experience. We would go again!
Top quality Thai food. Best in the area. Great drinks menu.
There are several other Thai places in the area but this is easily our favorite. Each dish is plated like art. The seafood was done perfectly, the scallops practically melted in the mouth.
