Fun atmosphere! It has that keep Portland Weird vibe! I love their vegetarian pizza and Greek salad! My son also had their pepperoni roles...The waitress was friendly and took care of us in a timely manner! I'd come back😊
Pizza was bomb. Had a veggie pizza with spinach, tomatoes and feta. Yum.
Service was friendly and super nice. Easily a chill spot, I’ll be back for a slice and a beer!
Did Saturday night take out and Sunday dine in with my son to watch football. Saturday night's Schmeatball sub must have had 8 meatballs!! Not just big but spot on in the taste department. Sunday morning pizzas were the FooFoo and the Genoa. Crispy Crust and awesome flavor. Owner working the floor shows his investment in making sure things are done right. In town til Tuesday and I'll probably hit it one more time.
Went back to this spot for the first time in years. Found out it is under new ownership. The pizza was great I got the Genoa, and the pepperoni. The crust had a nice chew to it, the ingredients tasted great and worked well together. The staff was amazing greeted me as I walked in. I will be making this place a regular spot for pizza 5 stars.
Great atmosphere, great drinks and great food. Great people too. Bartender was very nice. And a guy was giving $3 pizza cards to people. Will definitely be coming back.
a nice spot in the Lloyd district! Great ambiance and vibe! I came to grab a quick slice and watch a game and ended up staying longer and returning again a week later. Pizza is super yummy. There’s a nice bar with good selection of beers. I met both the partner business owners and they’re great: really focused on creating a great space for Lloyd district.
Plenty of big screens if you want to watch a game but they don’t dominate the space if sports isn’t your thing.
I had given up on Lloyd area but now schmizza gives me reasons to head over
Went to the newly re-opened Schmizza on NE Broadway this weekend. New owners are super-friendly & really did a great job cleaning up the place. They welcomed us when we walked in, had a few different pizzas by the slice and a good selection of beer on tap. Try the Nashville Hot Chicken pizza (I’m vegetarian so just had cheese, but my hubby said it was great). Lots of TVs featuring many different games. They also have trivia and karaoke certain nights. I think we found a new hangout spot - I encourage others in the neighborhood to support this locally-owned restaurant/bar!! (And..Conveniently located near the moda center for Blazer games & concerts!)
Cute homey location. We'd been to another location and liked it so decided to try this one out. Great service and food came out quickly. Everything was fresh and very tasty. Prices are very competitive. I love that you can buy pizza by the slice instead of only buying an entire huge pizza. The salad in the photo I believe is a half salad and huge! There is a full bar and a small arcade in the back as well. Reserved parking behind the restaurant. Definitely check them out.
Update: November 19, 2022
New Black-owned business opened after closing for awhile.
I'd been wanting to come in for awhile but finally made a point to stop in and was not disappointed. They offer cocktails, local brews and pizza by the slice with a variety of the usual choices including "No Kiss Tonight Garlic and Chicken" and a huge dose of vintage Motown playing on their sound system.
I ordered a slice of pepperoni which looked like it came from a gigantic 18" pie. It had generous amount of pepperoni and cheese with a really good sauce.
The prices are moderate, full meat and veggie pizza menu and sides, plus sandwiches, and pasta.
Family owned, friendly and just what the neighborhood needs. Motown tunes, several big screen TVs streaming Football, Basketball, Soccer, probably Baseball and some Nascar racing.

Original post, sometime 4 years ago.
Stopped in for lunch after my shift ended. I'd eaten their pie at the NW and DT locations when I was in a hurry with always good results. I had high hopes for a good meal, and wasn't disappointed. The only reason, I didn't give them five stars is they didn't have a traditional heated Italian style sub.
Disappointed but not detoured, I ordered the Split-fried Italian Sausage sandwich. The sausage sandwich was one of the best I've had in a long, long time, it was covered with marinara sauce and melted mozzarella cheese on a Schmizza roll and a bag of chips completed the lunch.
Judging by the other customers' sandwiches, they offer up some tasty lunches, including salads, pasta and pizza by the slice and small personal pizzas as well.
I'll go back again, maybe they'll have a heated Italian style sub when I do.
They were out of avocado for my salad after I paid but the server still hooked it up and gave me a deal. Nice guy and chill spot to watch football on a Sunday. I'm not complaining at all. Sometimes schmizza gets some heat in this city, but not this location, not today!
