My partner and I had lunch here today and were really impressed. The restaurant is very vegan friendly and the food is really tasty. We started off with the fresh rolls and peanut sauce. The rolls were bland and felt like I was eating lettuce wrapped in rice paper - it lacked any real substance or flavor. The peanut sauce, however, was the best I've ever had. It was bursting with flavor and ended with a delicious peanut finish. It took all my strength to not make out with the small serving bowl that held that divine sauce.
For our entrees I ordered the drunken noodles with tofu - heat 6 - and my partner order the yellow curry with veggies - heat 2. The yellow curry was very tasty and although a tad bit watery brought forth deep flavors. The drunken noodles weren't as tasty as the curry but were still very good. Once I added the peanut sauce to the noodles though they became superb.
This is a very nice that place that serves tasty food, provides a free soup buffet, and has a cozy atmosphere.
Super delicious lunch! Was in town for a conference and stopped in. Loved the complementary soup, and got the Sweet and Sour Chicken and Pad Thai, both were super delicious and we loved it! Super friendly staff as well!
Great food! Great atmosphere! If you like good Thai then come here.
My new favorite this restaurant in my neighborhood! Tasted fresh, good value, and much better quality than the other Thai restaurants in the area. Definitely will be back.
I also appreciated that they checked if egg was okay when I ordered a tofu dish.
Stopped in today to grab a quick bite for lunch. The soups they offer with their lunch specials are AMAZING! Had the cashew stir fry with rice as the main which was good too. Overall the service here is great the food is great and the ambiance is relaxed and comfortable. Highly recommend for lunch.
It's so hard to find good Thai food these days. The food here is amazing! And the lady who works there is phenomenal and listens to what you actually want. I have had the fried rice, pad thai and fried rolls. They are all amazingly flavored. Highly recommend.
P.s. if you're like me and only like a little spice, she actually does the perfect amount to where you're not on fire trying to eat even when requested a little spice. Most places little spice is insanely hot.
Consistently amazing food!!!!
Light, crisp, clean appetizers. Beautifully crafted soups!!! Rich, bold and savory entrees. The Chef has a masterful touch with unique style exhibited in every plate. Atmosphere is a perfect match to the cuisine. The service is warm, welcoming, attentive and knowledgeable.
First time at this new spot and everything was yummy! Service was friendly and efficient, the space is clean and fresh and the menu, while not extensive, has something for everyone. Their spice meter is a bit different from other Thai restaurants, medium was not very zingy, so don't be afraid to order it hot!
Love the pineapple cashew fried rice, served in a pineapple, with light yellow curry. I had it with chicken. It was a beautiful spring day, so I enjoyed a quaint table outside in the light hustle & bustle of Portland. Wait staff was cheerful, friendly, upbeat, & easy to converse with. Good service, they gave you space, but still checked in every now & then. Prices are above average, but well worth it. I will absolutely be returning for another excellent dining experience
Anne is amazing!!!
She is so friendly and really values everyone that comes to her shop.
Being a food cart owner myself, I can tell she cares about quality of food as well!
She takes time making the dish, and makes sure it turned out just the way you like it.
