This was my third visit and it was awesome! Fat tacos, delish gordita! Plus, made for scratch corn tortillas! A little outta the way, but SOOO worth it!!
Been coming here for years and it's still some of the best Mexican food I've had in a long time. I don't know a single place that can top this joint.
Super nice service, real-deal Mexican food at affordable prices. Can smell the charred meat from down the street. Everything is well-seasoned, dare I say you don't even need salsa, but they have several different sauces to choose from to make things spicy. There's a little covered shack if you want to eat there. Be careful of arriving late, they seem to sell out of meat sometimes or close a little early. Highly recommended ⭐
My favorite Mexican place in PDX. Super authentic, cheap, friendly amigo that works there is always so nice, I try and practice my Spanish with him. I honestly think I could eat there every day if I could.?
Beware: they close 7:45-8pm.
This place is so so so good. Seriously. I get the pastor burritos and the veggie burritos with fajita veggies. Currently my favorite burritos in Portland. Edit: got tacos, they were awesome! And huge!!
Delicious and fast. Both the buche and cabeza tacos were done perfectly - and for only $1.50 a piece! Theres a covered area with picnic benches to eat at which was very convenient as well. The person who made our food was friendly, quick, and polite.
I've had the chicken torta from here a few times and it's fantastic. Very flavorful and lots of meat, although a little messy (not a bad thing). The verde salsa is great. This place is CASH ONLY so prepare accordingly.
Unbelievable tacos!! Only $15 for two people to get their fill of delicious, flavorful, and authentic tacos?? Also the owner/cook is such a friendly guy! Tucked behind an auto shop, what a hidden gem. Make sure to ask for the hot sauces too!
Super decent tacos at a super price! Service was great and the portions are huge. I'm glad this food truck is here - they are a top option in the neighborhood for a quick, informal lunch on a budget. For my order, the Carnitas was a little dry but very tasty. This fish tacos had great flavor and were very filling. The burrito's look HUGE! Take-out only, it seems. A couple folding chairs are the only seating available - no tables. I will be back.
Okay, so I know people get carried away with grand statements on reviews, but holy heck this place is deserving. Easily the best burrito I’ve had in town, and I’ve tried a many. Not only is it inexpensive and generous portions, but the buche is incredible. Every time I order it seems to get better. Highly recommended!
