Lovely place, even lovelier people! Staff were very kind. The coffee has a nice, moderate amount of flavor, so if you're a normal person who likes to taste their coffee you'll love it. If youre a freak like me who likes it sweetened up dutch brothers-level, we're in luck too! They were very kind to a accommodate that request! The mocha was great extra-sweet. I want to say it was 5 pumps of mocha to a large size drink to get that sweetness, but I could be wrong.
All the employees are great, fun people to be around. Super nice and made the visit much more enjoyable.
The Ross Island burger came with crispy fries, a pickle spear, and a side of ketchup. Everything had great texture and flavor and the serving was generously sized.
The atmosphere was beautiful- its a very cozy little spot, and the plants everywhere add to the comfort. I admire the love it must take to keep all these things alive.
They have live music on fridays! I sadly ended up missing it today because my travels took me a bit far before I could return to the building. But the tickets are reasonably priced- for tonight's performance it was 10 dollars, and tickets can be purchased via posted QR code!
There is a very cute, very clean bathroom for customers- But if you're reading this review because you're looking for a bathroom nearby (we all do sometimes), take it with a grain of salt- I don't come here enough to promise it's always going to be open haha. Don't go yelling at any employees that some review promised a bathroom if it's not open!
I'm rarely in this side of town but i will absolutely be back. Overall it was nothing but a joyful exprrience, I hope they get all the support a great local business deserves for years to come.
Despite the place being busy (which is a good sign, of course!) the staff were extremely kind and cooked up some of the most delicious food! I inhaled every last bite as quickly as I could. Prices are also really reasonable for what you get. We definitely will be back!
This is a lovely little place for a amazing sandwich. Or just grabbing a coffee & pastry. It was my 2nd visit and just wonderful. My turkey on sourdough was out if this world. Raspberry scone for dessert was really a tasty finish to my pleasant lunch experience. Cool chilled vibe throughout.
Love this place! I stop in a few times a week to get their hot/iced Americanos and occasionally lunch or dinner. The food is solid. The employees are all very kind and are quick to start up a conversation. Love the atmosphere, weather I'm getting some work done in a quiet corner, or watching music/comedy with friends on one of the weekends nights.
My favorite place for breakfast, lunch, and snacks - the people at Ross Island are so kind and welcoming, the food is always incredible, and it is definitely affordable for the high quality of service/food here. I cannot say enough good things about this place, but can absolutely recommend the breakfast burrito!
It feels like a hidden place, food is great and friendly service. And free wi-fi
What a great place! It was open mike night. There were 12 neighborhood performers that had a blast getting on stage. The food was great and the tasty cookies and pastries were awesome.
Friendly staff. Wonderful food. The sandwiches were outstanding. They also have a breakfast menu. Good coffee, both Iced and hot. Good takeout business.
Our last visit was horrible. Four people were working and the only one who knew how to do EVERYTHING was stuck on the grill. We waited 40 minutes for a 'Black & White' mocha, Earl Grey tea, and a cup of oatmeal. My husband decided that he was done waiting order and walked out. The lady working the grill was extremely apologetic while explaining that 2 of them were training and refunded our money.
Lovely little spot tucked away in the shadow of downtown. If you are looking for a quiet cup of coffee while ignoring the city next door this is your spot. Dog friendly with limited outdoor seating.
