Love the simple non-complicated menu. I've tried other ramen but not "Oda". It's a little bit saltier than what I'm used to but then again. It is soy sauce based soup. Nice thick couple of pork meat included in the ramen
Super tasty ramen. Really good option in NE portland, and imo one of the top 5 in the city. Crunchy tempura mushrooms in the bowl are a big +
Great ramen and Gyoza. Nice savory broth.
Everything was hot and delicious. Gyoza dough was light and crispy. Chicken Karaage flavorful. Small California Roll devoured by 11 yr old grandson who gave it a "delicious" review. Ahi tuna Poke with Wakame was delicate and delicious but the big hit was the Spicy Oda ramen. Hands down best ramen ever. Parking is a bit of a challenge but worth the walk.
SO GOOD! I was happy to find this little ramen & sushi shop on my meander down N. Mississippi last weekend. I had the Yuzu Shoyu Ramen and a negihama roll (yellowtail &green onions) and both were generous, delicious, and beautifully presented. It's an order-at-the-counter then sit format and the service was prompt and pleasant.
The braised pork was so tasty, a generous portion and really complimented the cloudy chicken-based broth. I enjoyed the slivered onions and steamed broccoli rabe along with the classic 1/2 soft boiled egg and traditional garnishes (but no mystery fishcake-fine with me).
I'll definitely go back, and likely take people with me :)
I have not eaten in, but taken orders to go twice already. I love their spicy oda and chicken karaage. The noodles are ramen, not udon (just fyi). I thought the spicy oda was a perfect blend of spice and very flavorful. My other favorite go to so far is the chicken karaage with sriracha mayo as a dip. It's addicting! My fiance doesn't like ramen but he loves the chasyu (marinated pork) rice bowl and he's also addicted to the chicken karaage. I'm just glad we finally found a place were we can both get our fix for chicken and ramen!
