We really enjoyed the atmosphere and picked a table near the beach. Wonderful view with a cool ocean breeze as we ate. The grilled cheese with crab and the grilled cheese with lobster was delicious. The hot lobster roll was also delicious. The chickpea tacos were great. Service was friendly. The only thing that could be improved is increase the number of bathroom stalls. There was only one and always a long line to use that.

It was a good idea to have dinner here after whales trip. This beach bar has a sea view right near a beach close to harbor. You have to order your food and pay at a counter. You will receive your drinks also right here. The wine is served in plastic cups. The plates for food are metal which is interesting.
There is a wine from Portugal, Spain, California. The local beer is in a can.
We ordered lobster roll hot and cold. Both were delicious. It came with soured cabbage which a little bit over “vinegared” as for me.
The staff is friendly. There is one WC. That’s why there is a lane to got in. The place is popular.
From the street the place looks tiny, but as soon as you got their back it has cozy couches and nice beach tables! It was busy, but food came fast. We tried their lobster roll breakfast on croissant and it was delicious. We also ordered their famous Brussels sprouts and Bloody Mary 👍🏼 awesome music and nice vibe. Dog friendly! So happy we walked in.

Absolutely the best seafood around! I had the pleasure of meeting a local gentleman who’s been in PTown since ‘87, and he insisted we try The Canteen. I was thrilled to snag a table for six in the cozy rounded corner with a huge window. The decor gives off a camp-like vibe, but don’t be fooled, the food is a culinary delight! The entire experience was fantastic, with a super sweet and engaging waitstaff. They even surprised me with a range of drink options, including alcohol, wine, and a delightful frosé. Since it was an evening in October, we decided to dine in, but I was told the deck out back offers incredible bay views - something to look forward to next time!
The food was perfection - crispy, hot, with flaky and light fish. The oil used for frying is exceptionally light, leaving no noticeable fry taste. Impressive! Both my partner and I opted for the fish sandwich, and at $15, it was not only a generous portion but also a delicious choice. The side of pickles and onions was sweet and vinegary, making it the perfect complement to the meal. The best part is that you can come as you are; this dining experience is ideal for a post-beach meal. The constant flow of diners coming and going is a testament to the staff’s efficient operation. The food seems very healthy. I'm not a salad person but the salad served with my vegan hummus bagel was really good. There's a beach with seating in the back. It looks like they have a beach bar. It's really cute. You order and pay up front then they give you a number to serve you when you sit at their beach tables. Loved this place and would absolutely recommend
10/10. Ordered at the front walk in area; 2 sets of fish tacos, cauliflower fritters, and the crispy brussel sprouts. Walked out back to the end of the porch and there is one table right in the sand on the beach. YAHTZEE! Secured our amazing table and immediately headed to the bar out back. House marg and the rum punch were awesome. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time considering this place was PACKED. Food was incredible. I would eat here all the time if I lived closer. One of the cheaper places in P-town that we could find, but the level of detail and care in everything made this place a steal. Great staff, great outdoor seating, great drinks and food. Stayed here for almost two hours and it was so hard to leave.

Lobster roll is almost on every menu in Cape Town. Must try it. Better get it at the seafood restaurant. It was so good and big ($25). Coleslaw is a little tangy and fresh. Relaxing atmosphere in the back.
This is my favorite place in PTown. The variety of food, from breakfast to dinner, is excellent. The prices (compared to everything else in Provincetown) are very reasonable. I recommend sitting at the far end of the backyard.
