Helltown Kitchen

My son and I tried to go to a restaurant (Terrazzo) next door but they were at capacity so the host suggested we try their sister restaurant Helltown Kitchen and we are so glad we did. The outside seating area is beautiful. The food is delicious. I had the Lobster Risotto and my son chose the Pork Vindaloo. He had never had Indian food before and LOVED IT. I savored every bite of my risotto and now believe it is the only way to eat lobster. It is a must try when vacationing in Ptown.

went here for dinner with friends and had an amazing meal. the atmosphere is great, funky decorations and outdoor seating with heat lamps. everyone loved their food. i ordered 3 appetizers for my meal: the elote corn, linguica croquettes, and garlic-sautéed asparagus. all were fantastic, plus the plates themselves were beautiful. we shared a phenomenal mexican cheesecake for dessert; it had dulce de leche, whipped cream, and melted cotton candy. service was very genuine, patient, and friendly as well. one of the best restaurants in ptown!

Heads up, there's a new king in Provincetown! Helltown is not a restaurant, it's an experience. The dinner I had there wasn't just incredibly good, it was fun. The menu is ballsy, sexy, innovative, the combinations are brilliant and they take a lot of risks. The food is colorful and creative, REALLY spicy, not meant for the faint of heart. We ordered 2 appetizers, 2 main courses and one dessert. The avocado and crab was generous, nutty and creamy, the shrimp had a nice kick to it and dipping the tostones in the hot sauce that came with it was just amazing (I would suggest a little drop of lime on the shrimp though). The steak was cooked to perfection, it was a delicious cut, the yucca fries were crunchy and nicely seasoned and the chimichurri sauce was a genius idea. I thought that the coconut curry cod was the absolute best. The fish was soft and tasty, the sauce milky, delicate, like a warm embrace on the palate and the basmati rice soaked all of it and made the overall texture perfect. I do believe though that the superstar of the meal was the dessert, a marvelous, Mexican style, churro-based cheesecake. Words cannot possibly describe how delicious it was. A crunchy, sugary base topped with a refreshing cream cheese, delicate notes of cinnamon that linger in your mouth long after you've had a bite. The drinks were also very well executed, the service was good, nice and professional, nobody rushed us and the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. I can't wait to go back to Provincetown just to have dinner there again. Thanks for such a beautiful evening!

I just stopped by for a wine and dessert after dinner. Wonderful atmosphere. The deconstructed strawberry shortcake was probably an 8/10 for me - nice and light, but the seasoning was a little Christmasy. I’ll come back and try more of the menu.

10/10 - will definitely add this restaurant to my roster for dining out on Cape. The ambiance was perfect and comfortable, the service was fantastic - everyone I Interacted with was pleasant. Our waiter, Gustavo, was really wonderful, making sure we had all we needed and offered great recommendations! The food was superb, truly, they really crushed the menu here everything I ate was delicious.
