First of all, the charm this restaurant has is amazing. Such a beautiful history and I loved seeing it all in person. My friend and I ordered a homemade cinnamon roll, a piece of breakfast casserole, bacon, two biscuits with gravy, a coke from the grocery, and a sweet tea for $20... and all of this is homemade, locally sourced, and farm to table. My favorite place in Tallahassee is Bradleys Country store and they make their gravy with their sausage. The biscuits were real and homemade. This absolutely blew our minds. My grandmother couldn't even make that that good. The bacon he actually served while still in the frying pan. That was classy. The cinnamon roll has like crispy sugary cinnamon in it and there are no words to describe how good that was. The best part was by far the breakfast casserole. My friend and I should not have split that because we were fighting over the last bite - literally. We ended up splitting a centimeter haha. It was so fluffy, the onions were perfect, the eggs. I mean it was so fresh. Next time I come I'm just taking everything that's left! I will be back and bringing friends!!

Just left Damfino's for lunch. Today's special: pulled pork sandwich, seasoned greens, squash casserole. There are other options. The organic, vegetarian and vegan offerings are worth the trip. But this was the lunch I enjoyed. It was honestly very good, maybe even a shouldn't miss. Super flavorful, fresh, nutritious ok I may have to go back and purchase one of the whole squash casseroles to go. My great thanks to Mikey for getting me back in the door.

Bobbie mentioned the ice-cream. My sin is the Key Lime pie. I eat the whole thing without telling anyone at home we have it. You can even order one from Max. I did, after eating the first one!! Some downtown friends have been meeting there after work for a glass of wine or beer. It is so intimate and relaxing before going home after a stressful day (volunteering?) You can pick up dinner to take home, and some groceries. No reason NOT to stop by around 5. If they are out of Key Lime pie, you will know who got there first.
