I've never had a bad meal here. Tonight was no exception. My old reliable: chopped black angus steak with enough grilled onions to qualify as a serving of veggies, green salad with cukes and tomatoes, and the fabulous chicken dumpling soup, full of chicken, carrots and celery. Was tempted by the perch and the shrimp scampi, but this was a beef night.

Our local family restaurant. They always have great food & wait staff very polite. All home made soups & great specials. Serves breakfast & lunch. Fridays open later for fish frys. I had their special today. The strawberry chicken salad..it was awesome.
Our service was awesome, like going out to eat 20 years ago, meaning the waitress was very caring. The food was great! The bill was $60 for 4 people. After 10am they serve breakfast and dinner. So good and so reasonable that we went Saturday and Sunday!
This is the spot! Best Breakfast/Brunch in town. This place is spotless clean and the service is wonderful. The food is always consistent and I can’t believe how quick the food comes out. The prices are extremely fair! This is why we keep coming back. Thankful for Douglas Diner!

Love the food, the atmosphere, the service and just the vibe. It reminds me of cute corner diners in New York and New Jersey.
