I can't get enough of this place! The ground beef taco plate is...OMG-good!!! I would make a trip here every week if my waistline would let me😄 I wish they had a shop around the corner from my house. I could never be that lucky.
Today was my first day ever going. It was my birthday and I wanted some good authentic Mexican food. So I came to La Tapatia since I heard they were the best in Racine. Before I could open the door I was greeted by a gentleman who welcomed me in. We had a little small talk and he helped me navigate through the menu. I let them know how excited I was about finally eating at their establishment. He made sure I wasn’t disappointed. My food was fast. And it was perfect. He made sure of it. Even the friendly cook came out and made sure everything was fine. I’ve eaten at much more expensive places and I’ve never ever been treated this nice. These guys are awesome. I felt like family. This experience truly made my day.
We had a taco plate and a flour tortilla taco plate. I’m spoiled/blessed to have this by my house. Simply delicious tacos 🌮 Cash only 💰
I would have given this place a 5 star, however the customer service was not great. Both cashiers did greet me, but then went right back on their phones. No one bothered to give me an update on my To Go order. However the food itself was absolutely AMAZING!!! Maybe if I had been a "regular" and not my first time there, the vibe would/could have been different! Chile Renenos and Tacos were AMAZING!!!

The best Mexican restaurant I've ever been to hands down. in my opinion you're not going to get anything better than what they have to offer. Five stars all the way across the board make sure to try either steak burrito and tacos their sauces are phenomenal as well.
