Dropped by this evening for tacos, had a pleasant chat with the proprietor while waiting for food and we commiserated over skyrocketing food prices (hence them no longer offering lengua).
While expensive and requiring a minimum order of 2, the fish tacos at Karlita's are some of the best I've ever had, no exaggeration. Incredibly tender fish, wonderful blend of flavors, and a solid pile of ingredients to wrap it all up as a very satisfying nomnomnom. It's not your typical fried fish with slaw and salsa on a tortilla, which can certainly be excellent. The fish is some sort of slow cooked and melts in your mouth, and is complimented with avocado, black beans, and is utterly completed by a squeeze of lime juice. SO good.
Other tacos tried: carne asada was ok, chili verde pork was good, and the al pastor was *superb*.
Will be back for more!
I order through Door Dash I placed my order when it came the was items missing I called the Restaurant and spoke to the owner he told me he would make it and bring it. I thought that was VERY NICE and the food is EXCELLENT!!!!!!
We buy regularly from here. Pretty good burritos, delicious pupusas.
Their tacos dorados are the best I have had, but of course you go here for the pupusas. They're a tiny hole in the wall in a strip mall and there's usually a line out the door. The pupusas are authentic, fairly priced, and generous in size. Options on the menu are extensive and not properly reflected by online pictures - just go there and order, you won't be disappointed.
Tiny little place at the end of a nondescript strip mall, but don't miss it! Fast service and really tasty food. I will return.
Top notch tacos can be found here. I LOVE how they season their grilled chicken. Only downside: they close at 7:30pm.
Yummy, this place was good. I door and out door seating available. We choose out front as it was a nice evening. The food was excellent. The seasoning of the meat was perfect. Tried the fried plantains and have a new food I like.
Beer is available by bottles.
As we were finishing our food, an employee possible management, came outside to our table and asked us about how we liked our meal. This is a service step above most taco places in the area.
As I write this review I am planning to go have tacos at Karlita's again this Friday 😋🌮🌮🌮🌮🍺🍺😋
