Good homey authentic Mexican Restaurant. Almost thought I was in Mexico. They have a lot on their menu, but I just had their Pastor (pork) and Asada (beef) tacos. They were quite good and paid about $6. Seating indoor or outdoor is available and decent amount of parking.

The absolute best authentic Mexican tacos and food in the Bay Area. Homemade fresh tortillas, well seasoned meat, fast service, and the flavor here is second-to-none. Redwood City is a highly competitive marketplace for good authentic Mexican food, and this is one of the best in the Bay. As a Bay Area native, this place comes highly recommended, and is named on several websites as a place to try for good Mexican food, and I can see why. Detailed review follows:
[The Food]
The tacos, burritos, and other menu items are delicious. They make their own tortillas fresh which gives them the edge over the competition in the Bay Area. The meat is always good, well seasoned, and not overly greasy. The food here is what I would describe as Mexican street style and not what you'd find at fancy Mexican restaurants. What results is an authentic Mexican food experience. This is our favorite place to get tacos and any other Mexican food.
[Customer Service]
The customer service here is great. Mostly young employees, family run, and super friendly. Every-time we come here the cashier is super nice. The food is really fast too. We usually don't wait more than 5 minutes for food.
[The Location]
Convenient location right off El Camino Real in Redwood City. Safe area, plenty of parking, and lots to do nearby. There's a large "Redwood City" sign across the street which you can go take pictures of if you're visiting as a tourist.
In conclusion, this is the BEST Mexican restaurant in the Bay Area. If you wanted to have more authentic Mexican food, I think you'd probably have to travel to Mexico to try it!
No dearth of good taquerias in redwood city but this one stands out. Fresh hand made tortillas, excellent meats (carnitas, barbacoa - speciality) Highly recommend.
This is the best taco spot in Redwood City. I live in Hayward but every time I’m in the area I make sure that I stop by for some hand made tortillas and some of the best Birria I have tried
Had four different items from the menu: quesebirrias, beef taco, pork burrito and shrimp tostada. The shrimp was by far the most delicious. Would come here again if I was craving a seafood Mexican dish, but would go elsewhere for meat dishes.
We ate in restaurant but we have ordered take out from here before. The food travels well.

Amazingly good smaller spot with great selection of shrimp plates, friendly neighborhood vibe, good burritos, nice drink selection, reasonable prices. Can get busy though worth the wait. Parking can be challenging from Roosevelt street, El Camino is easier in/out.
We were staying at Holiday inn Express n it was recommend by a Nice young lady at hotel.
Loved their Carnitas Burrito n Carnitas Tostada n Taco for my Hubby n I . Soft tortillas .. tasty Pork n green sauce ... Delicious 😋
Nice place .. clean .. family owned restaurant. We took our food to the room. Oh my ... Delicious n satisfying.
