This place is fireeee ! I've eaten at SO MANY mexican places & this is the best! It's full of flavor ! I always get the enchilada burrito with the green sauce ! Amaaazing ! I always ask for extra :) The meat has a slight spice to it , they don't give you too much rice like American spots do. You really get a nice ratio of ingredients. The steak is BOMB ! It's perfectly cooked, cut, and seasoned. The waiters are always pleasant & attentive. I always tip them ! The orange "salsa" /chip dip they give you with the tortilla chips is soooo good and a bit spicy ! The salsa tastes so fresh & the cilantro sets it off. No other Mexican spot (I've ever had) comes close to this place ! Period Buuut, the last time I ordered, my food wasn't "hot" & I sat in to eat. Other than that? It was yummy :)
Googled Mexican food nearby and we ended up here. So yummy!! All of the employees were very friendly and our waitress was great! Refilled chips and drinks without having to ask and was overall very nice. At the end of the meal the service got a little slow but I assume the waitress got busy and that’s why. Ordered fajitas and it came with a lot of food for only $12! We are moving near here soon and we will definitely come back whenever we want Mexican food!!
I’m glad I found this place. The margarita was bomb my garlic shrimp was bomb the music was lit and the service was great. Whatever we asked for they got it. Chips were not my favorite and the salsas were basic but we asked for a spicier one and best believe we got it
Could not recommend this great family restaurant anymore! We’ve been coming here for years and although the service can be fast or slow, the food is always delicious. Highly recommend their Camerones Botaneros, the Enchiladas, Cecina, their Molcajete bowls and Birria Street Tacos. Don’t FORGET the Fried Ice Cream for dessert! Margaritas are always tasty and even better when they’re 2-1s.
On top, I’ve had them cater a few events for up to 50 and it’s always been excellent and delicious as if you’re at the restaurant. They give you everything you need from salsas, limes, napkins to utensils. I guarantee you’ll have extras!!
Fantastic food, top notch service and a great atmosphere. The Bistec La Mexicana was fantastic. Also had the guac, the churros with ice cream and the limonito (sp?) was so good. They were also having a 2 for 1 margarita special at the time and they were apparently fantastic, I was the DD though, so will have to try them next time. Anyway, well worth the stop. Highly recommend.
Best of the twin cities for authentic Mexican. Always have to get enchiladas with rice and beans. Only $11. Huge menu offerings unlike many of the new tacos only places. Full bar. Great atmosphere. Attentive service.
