What a fun place. The Mrs. and I were in the area and looking for a something late on a Monday night and came across Teschner's. It wasn't crowded and we had our pick of tables. Apparently one or more staff had called off sick and there was one person doing the bartending, waiting and cooking. She was a great juggler because she made some great sandwiches, generous cocktails and still took a few extra minutes to chat us up. The menu was standard pub fare, but seemed fresh and tasted great. The place had a great neighborhood feel and we'd stop back again if in the area.
Perfection! This is a destination restaurant! From the moment we came in, the staff was attentive but not overbearing. The drinks were excellent and not overpriced. The entrees were all delicious and I know, because we all shared and everyone agreed how amazing everything was. My granddaughter loved her mashed potatoes. You really will have a great time here!
Flavorful burgers and tasty flat bread sandwiches. Outdoor dining, the bar has see through dividers and the staff wears masks. All bases covered. Nice pool table for those who want to drink and play.
Unassuming front, smaller dining area. Fantastic staff, and my dinner was very good. I had the Blue Plate Special, because I haven’t had solid pierogis in a long time.
The pierogis (as well as the sauerkraut rolls, so I was told), are made by Pierogis of Cleveland. The kielbasa was a bit salty, I won’t lie, but that’s a common issue, I’ve found. The beans and applesauce were also very good.
This definitely seems to be a favorite for locals, the parking lot was pretty full when I pulled in between 7:30-8 on a Tuesday night. I would absolutely return.
Found on google while looking for a good fish fry. Was not disappointed. Small family owned business where the staff couldn't of been friendlier. The grilled shrimp appetizer and fried pickle spears...delicious. 3 entrees, cod, perch and salmon, all cooked perfectly. The desserts were delicious, chocolate cake and apple pie pierogies. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. 5 stars!!!
Food is always delicious here. Small mom and pop place with everything made from scratch.
You will not be disappointed in any item you choose. Highly recommend!
This place is truly a gem. Food and service is excellent. So far I've had the O tang chicken sandwich, wings and a steak. All of these exceeded expectations and would order all of them again. They seem to be known for burgers, wings and Steaks though and the burgers are enormous and look amazing. This is becoming a regular stop for me.
I wish I lived close to this Tavern. Stopped here because of the reviews and wasn't disappointed. My burger was huge and the sweet potato fries were nice and crispy. Wings were great and they have many sauces to pick from. Our waitress was great even though she was swamped. Fun place.
My family of four (adult kids) loved it! We had a variety of their wings and every flavor was unique and excellent. Great service but limited seating. You may want to call ahead because this place is a local favorite!
