We had a craving for good southern food. Mama J’s was great! We had the fried chicken and mashed potatoes along with fried catfish and collard greens. The place was bustling with business. Very popular place. Wish I could have tasted some dessert because it looked like they had pies and cakes too.

THIS PLACE IS A MUST! THE STAFF IS A1 the FOOD IS AMAZING! And the atmosphere reminds you of mamas kitchen! I had carfish and cabbage with the mac and cheese and tasted the greens! I was literally deink the juice from the greens after! My waitress was the best and i wish i knew her name she made it even more enjoyable if you are in the area its worth every penny and its very AFFORDABLE!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍

This place was a gem. I'll give them a 4.8 out of 5 stars. The fried chicken was absolutely delicious. Some of the best I've tasted. The Mac and cheese was good but I've had better. I really enjoyed the candy yams. The ice tea was also good. Would definitely eat here again.
