The food is great, the service is excellent and the shrimp tacos are amazing. Definitely recommend!
Tucked away in the just keep swimming Stony Point Fashion Park is Latitude Seafood Company, a restaurant that has been on my list to visit since it opened but not enough of a draw for me to venture out for a special trip until recently. I dined there recently and was pleasantly surprised to find a full restaurant and bar including a few large parties that were easily accommodated by the servers. The menu has a great variety of options with Maryland Crab Cakes and Fish and Chips ordered on this trip. The food was flavorful and reasonably priced. I loved the booth seating because it gave you some semblance of privacy and was comfortable. Some of the acoustics can make it difficult to hear at times with the semi-open kitchen and when larger parties arrive. The server was attentive without being pushy. I am happy to see this restaurant thriving in a space which has turned over a few times. Along with the other restaurants at the Mall I do believe it could be a mainstay.
My wife and I came here to celebrate her birthday and it was better than we expected in every way! Everything from the appetizers to the drinks to the entrees were amazing! My server (Amber) was great too...very attentive and even though they typically don't do anything for birthdays she got some of her coworkers to sing happy birthday to my wife! All in all a very wonderful experience and will definitely refer more people to come!
This is my second time coming to this restaurant and I'm glad I gave it a second try. Previously I had the shrimp and grits and it was not good at all DO NOT TRY IT. This time I got the seafood pasta and it was good lack any flavor but hot and fresh. The crab dip was good as well. 4 people we spent a little over 200.
Good was delicious. Service was great. The air conditioning was really working it was extremely cold. Other than that everything was good.
Service was good. Food was also pretty good. I feel like this was an improved experience. I visited this location at least three times. Each visit is an improvement over the last. Atmosphere and a steady summer breeze enhanced the evening.
Great early mothers day meal. First time visiting but will not be my last.
I had two entrees. Jerk shrimp and chicken with garlic mash and asparagus. Also shrimp taco with lobster mac and cheese. My guest had surf and turf, but the steak was over cooked. The best part of the meal was the garlic mash. The worse was waiting for the food. It felt like forever for the food to come out. The server was great and so was the presentation.
I stopped by here with a couple friends to celebrate a birthday and we ordered a few entrees. - no appetizers. The server was okay, she came by just enough and kept us happy.
I ordered a sweet tea and hellfire shrimp tacos. The tea was horrible. it tasted like the bottom of the tea container. (If you've ever made tea from teabags you know exactly what I mean, it's like the end of the pitcher)
As for my entree, the shrimp tacos. They were good. I just hated that they were loaded so thick I couldn't close the taco to hold it so everything was falling out and it got really soggy. I literally hate anything to get soggy so it was hard to eat. Sad- because the shrimp itself tasted good, I just ended up eating it with a fork out of the shell instead.
The Curly fries were awesome and literally were the best thing on our playes.
Went last night, last minute. I was able to go online and reserve a table for 730p we were sat as soon as we got there and greeted immediately however, from there things started to take a bit of a turn. Our drinks took forever our appetizer took quite a while as well, I ordered the prickly pear margarita, which is actually a good flavor and the crab dip is always a hit for me. It took quite a while for our entrées to come as well so we finally asked what was going on and we learned that there was a big party that had came in shortly before us, and so apparently our orders for food and drinks were behind theirs. The delays made sense after the explanation because it really was not packed last night, but I could not see where the party was sitting. Nonetheless, the manager was very sweet and made several offers to make this experience a better one.
We left full and satisfied :)
This was our first time to this location. We visited their sister location many years ago and had a really bad experience. I will say I wish I could give them 3.5 stars instead of 4.
We started off with the hellfire shrimp & seafood dip which was absolutely amazing. Really big chunks of scallops and shrimp.
Our entrees were shrimp & grits, surf & stuff with mashed potatoes & Brussel sprouts. The shrimp & grits were amazing. I ordered my steak med well and it came out very well done. It around the outer edges and touch in the center. I sent it back in which they came about a better steak. But still no medium well. More of well than medium well. I didn’t want to keep sending it back. The only complaint I have is in regards to my steak. The caramel cheesecake & key like pie was not fave.
This appears to be a very lively place. The wait staff service was also amazing. I encourage folks to make a reservation seems it would appear to be longer waits on the weekends.
The food was great!! Delicious!! The service was excellent!! The drinks were good and strong!
