I can't recommend Flavors of Asia enough. All of their food is amazing and there is something for everyone. They are so accommodating to vegans they have a separate menu. The serving staff is full of helpful, kind, and cheerful people that work hard to make sure you get exactly what they are looking for. We met the owner, Kam, to book a larger party for dinner and not only is he super nice but he's passionate about serving great food. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Rochester.
Went there for lunch yesterday. Food was amazing, and our waiter was professional and lovely. After we ordered, he jokingly warned us we would be needing take home boxes (joke's on him because I was counting on it). Have you ever eaten a dish and you think about it for days/weeks afterwards? That's their coconut curry soup.
Great selection of Thai food. We ordered crab rangoons and egg rolls as appetizers. Entrees were phad Khing chicken and spicy basil chicken. They are BYOB with a $10 corkage fee, bring tour favorite Gewerstemeiner.
Opened three weeks ago. Clean interior. Food is very good not so Americanized. Dumpling is hand made. Take cash payment. “Crepe” is a feature and deserved so.
Second time coming back here. LOVE the Coconut Curry Chicken bowl. Literally enough for two people's full meal, though we supplemented with crab rangoons (above average) and pork fried spring rolls (good). We had tried the pork belly steamed buns last time and didn't particularly care for it. A friend ordered off the Chinese menu and got General Tso's Chicken, which can be made spicier, with fried rice included. He said it was above average and the chicken was nice and tender, not overly bready as had at other Chinese restaurants. The serving size was huge! Thai iced tea is a bit on the sweet side the previous home, but delicious, nonetheless. And we got it with the bubbles this time, but the Thai iced tea tasted better last time. Today it seemed as if the tea were steeped too long, and they make it with condensed milk instead of half and half as I've had at other restaurants, but adding extra condensed milk made me like this more. Employees are kind and helpful. Service was faster the last time we were here, when the restaurant was more crowded. It's a clean and quiet place. Though they do have their own parking lot, it can be tough to get good parking because the lot is small and is in an L-shape around the restaurant. Highly recommend it for an easy lunch or dinner for reasonable prices.
Love their vegan options! Their spring rolls, Pad Thai, and General Tso tofu are delicious! Will definitely keep coming back!
I moved out of Rochester almost 2 years ago, but I still miss Flavors of Asia! It was one of my favorite restaurants in Rochester, and literally everything they made was delicious. The owners and everyone that worked there were really nice as well. I will definitely come back if I’m ever back in town!
Love this place! Never had a bad meal. Recommend going to eat in so everything is hot! Great service, great coconut curry soup. Good stuff !
Seriously great. The food is fantastic, servers are so attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. I could live at Flavors of Asia!
I ordered lunch for my office of 12 people on a Thursday and hoped it wouldn’t overwhelm the restaurant. When I picked up the food, not only was it ready perfectly on time, but the worker at the counter had labeled everything, which was absolutely essential for me to be able to distribute everyone’s order successfully without mishaps. She was incredibly nice as well and I absolutely appreciate her conversation as well as her thoughtfulness. In addition, everyone raved about their food. I will absolutely be ordering from here again. Thank you so much, Flavors of Asia!
Stopped in here to grab a quick meal after traveling. The staff was so sweet and the food was delicious
