It's our first time to eat breakfast great diner ,great food ,bad waitress she's not happy where there,I think as a waitress you need to be a good PR i use to work as a waiter ,you want good tips then work good to your costumer. She don't even say good morning,she never smile,well maybe bcoz where Asiana and Hispanic maybe. she ask right away what u want we don't even sit down yet lol well thanks good good .
I have no idea how they do it but this is the only diner we've been to them at exceeds our expectations every single time. We go at least twice a month probably more and have not had a single experience less than great. Every time we are treated awesome, the food is quick, delicious, the server always tops our coffee off. Whenever we need it, and we're never rushed. The whole staff is awesome!
I’ve known about Mel’s Diner ever since I was little, as I grew up in Greece. I also used to work at the ESL that’s across the street from them as well!
The corned beef hash is awesome, flavorful and has a really good texture! (I’m really picky about my corned beef hash! I hate soggy hash!)
Service is prompt and friendly. Owners are hands on, involved, and truly care about their people. They accepted me right into their Mel’s family. That means a lot to me! ❤️
Living in florida, it's difficult to get breakfast after 2 pm since most places that serve it shut down by then.. I haven't had breakfast for dinner in a long time.
I had a spinach and feta omlette and added the lamb meat ....I was in heaven. 😀 Others in the party also ordered French toast (which were good but lacked in appearance), standard breakfast meal, chicken ceasar wrap, and a burger. We wanted dessert, but unfortunately, they were out of many of the items.
Our waitress was super nice! And the prices were reasonable.
Stopped by with family for a late Saturday brunch. The Grecian poached eggs omelette was amazing. The kids had French toast. Would come back.
The food here is ALWAYS good. Mel’s is a great place to go if you don’t know what you want to eat and don’t want fast food but still don’t have all day. It’s pretty quick, took my mom and I about an hour total including waiting time eating time and sitting and chit chatting. The restaurant is VERY clean and the food is quality. If you have special instructions they always get it right and their blue cheese dressing is 10/10
The food came out SO fast! It was also cooked to perfection. This place is organized and seated us quickly. The only down side is the seating feels squished. Also my eggs were perfect.
Don't get to go often but always enjoy when I do. Bunch of lovely ladies working there and the food is fast and really good. I've been to a few diners on the road and this is still one of my favorites.
Fantastic place. I enjoyed the atmosphere and service. The food is spectacular and the prices are decent. My favorite breakfast is the Italian skillet. Delicious scrambled eggs mozzarella cheese Italian sausage and Rich potatoes. Can't go wrong. Awesome place to bring family and friends.
Exceptionally delicious breakfast. The potatoes have a lot of flavor. The eggs were made perfectly sunny side up. My biscuits and gravy were flavorful! I haven’t been to Mel’s in awhile but I like the dividers they have up. Makes you feel more like you’re in a private space instead of a loud busy diner.
I got the Mel’s Platter. Very good!
Wonderful hostess and servers. The food was great, and portions were huge. Highly recommend the baklava cheesecake, which I have never heard of before. Great experience all around!
