Locals only is visually stimulating with imaginative menu options, I was pleasantly surprised. The decor is bright and inviting, which is also how I will describe the staff and service. I felt welcome and intrigued from the moment I walked in the door. You can see the chefs enthusiastically preparing the food which is such a neat touch and made the experience more personal. Now, the FOOD 🤤. Every bite was seasoned creatively and each plate came out colorful. It was evident the creator of these dishes enjoyed dreaming them up and that the chef enjoyed crafting that dream. The Buffalo Chicken Nachos were perfect with a generous but not overwhelming amounts of sauce, the sauce was tasty with not too much spice but enough kick to it to enjoy. The toppings were fresh and well proportioned to the chips. The Morning Glory was outstanding, this included a large slab of beef brisket with a light au jus, served with 3 eggs and breakfast potatoes mmmm. I wouldn't change a thing about this dish, the brisket was pull apart perfection and the potatoes were classically delicious. I love how the menu items were true to the area but managed to still be inventive and surprising. Overall this spot is fun, inviting and has incredible food. It's perfect for a breakfast date or to visit with a friend.
I am SOOOO glad we went here!! The atmosphere was great and the food was even better. I did not expect the portions to be that huge!!! I ordered the avocado toast option and it was amazing O M G and a side of sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were out of this world!!!!!! New go to breakfast place. Parking was good as well! And the time of day we went was Tuesday morning so it was a bit slower and felt more relaxing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Nice little spot where the old pita pit used to be. Staff was super friendly. Had a cool cafe type vibe with seating both upstairs and downstairs. The food was very good, I had their version of a sausage McMuffin and it was fantastic. Portions were large so you wont leave hungry. Definitely going to try more menu items.
Nice lil spot. When we walked in, one of my favorite bands (Joyce Manor) was playing which gave me a good vibe.
We were seated but then it took a really long time for anyone to take our order. We weren’t sure if we were supposed to order at the bar or something but eventually someone did come over.
Food and coffee were yummy. My husband got the “Chef’s Choice.” We thought it was a daily special or something but turns out they just make you something based on a few questions like “Sweet or savory? Breakfast or lunch? Hot or cold?” It was kinda cool and they ended up making him a really delicious breakfast wrap with brisket.
I got a croissant sandwich which was light but tasty. The food felt a little pricey for what it was, but overall it’s a nice spot with good food and drink and we’ll be back next time we’re in Rochester.
We remember when this place was the pita pit! 😆 Locals Only is delicious. All the food I have ever had here is excellent. Here is a picture of what my husband and I enjoyed today. My husband actually said the best brunch he has ever had was also here at Locals Only.
My boyfriend and I frequent this spot when we want a more fancy brunch with a hip atmosphere. The place is a little pretentious and the staff can be a bit curt. The prices are a little high for the portion sizes (depending on what you order) but the food is always tasty. I like getting the chef special and am always happy with what they come up with.
We came here for lunch during a college visit at Eastman. What an amazing little place, the food was fabulous!!! The cook or chef is unreal. He has the patience of a Saint and the presentation of the food was superb! We were definitely impressed. The environment was quaint and I loved the vibe.
I loved this place. I loved the food and the drinks and the service. But I think it needs a deep cleaning. The floors and bathroom were a little yucky.
It was great. Food was excellent. Gave 4 stars because our drinks weren’t very good. We got a Bloody Mary and mimosa flight.
We've looked them up online and planned to go there for breakfast and ordered the avocado toast with egg, forgot the exact name. It was good in quality. The quantity was a bit less for the price. I ordered one more egg with it, and it was perfect.
The staff was courteous, but there was nobody around on the upper floor in case we needed anything because there was no sugar or salt/pepper on the table.
