I love my visits to Canaltown. It’s a tranquil little coffee shop with 8-10 tables. A great place to spend alone or catch up with friends. I ordered a frozen hot chocolate and a cut out cookie that was too good to wait to take the picture!

This place oozes old school cool with a wall of vintage bean dispensers right as you walk in! The baristas are friendly and made me one of the best lattes I've ever had! Really looking forward to going back for beans and another latte next time I'm in the city.

Canaltown has been roasting coffee in the same location for 31 years, and they've learned a lot of things over this period, so when they have a blend called "Rochester's Choice", you know it's based on experience. Currently, my wife and I have been enjoying the organic Peruvian and making our own Rochester's choice by mixing half regular roast and half French roast, so good I included a picture.
