Always the most home like Sichuan restaurant in MD. The food flavor is so authentic and not to mention the owner and waitress are so friendly and nice. They always smell to customers makes you feel so welcomed. Although the restaurant decorations are a little old fashion, but everything is so clean and organized. Highly recommend.
This restaurant has been around forever and with good reason! The décor won'twin any awards but the food is excellent, if you know what to order. Reading another reviewer's complaint of the lack of authenticity of his general Tso's chicken made me snort. This is a Sichuan restaurant, that means spicy food. The spicy beef and noodles are particularly good, you may wish to designate your desired level of spiciness. I believe the noodles are freshly made daily. Although not a Sichuan dish, the Peking style shredded pork is my personal favorite. Served with thinly made fresh steamed "pancakes" , the taste is both unique and satisfying. A great place to eat if you know what to order.
This is my favorite Sichuanese place in the DC area, and I've been to a lot of them. I especially recommend their Home Style Tofu, their Sichuanese String Bean, and their Stuffed Tofu and Vegetable Balls. (I'm vegetarian, and also not looking at the menu right now, so the names are approximate.). A standout even in a neighborhood full of pretty fantastic restaurants.
