We have been customers for years. This Christmas we decided to make life a bit easier and order our meats from MSM. We were not disappointed! Christmas Eve was pulled pork. Christmas Day was sausage and mushroom quiche for breakfast, Roast beef Abu jus and stuffed chicken breast(YUM) for dinner. Saturday's gathering was a full meal of pork loin, cheesy potato casserole, baked beans and brownies. Everyone loved it! Thank you so much!
About four years November, Main Street did a pig roast and sides for my husband's retirement party. It was the best. Love the steak sandwiches and more. My husband has diabetes so one weekend when he was gone I ate one entire Main Street pie for three days.
We purchased a 15 pound boneless seasoned prime rib for Christmas 2015. The instructions were easy and it only took 10 minutes more to cook than the estimated time. The prime rib was picture perfect and the flavor was Devine. There wasn't anything left!
I have recently set out on the MONUMENTAL task of making my way through the official Bob's Burgers cookbook. Clearly not just any meat will do. I've always been a huge fan of Main Street Meat Co's bacon wrapped filets and figured I couldn't go wrong with using their ground beef....Let me tell ya it makes the BEST darn burgers that I have ever had. The staff even had my back and recommended what type and fat content for my burgers and they really knew their stuff. The best part? It ended up being even CHEAPER than the grocery stores. SO if you are looking to get some of the best high quality meat on the market, then you need to go to main street meats. I cannot wait to go back for more and cook up my next burger on the list. The staff is very friendly and nice! Great selection of meats. Also many other great items. Already made dinners, pies, seafood, venison, brats, burgers, soups, popcorn, jellies, also a cafe. Very clean just an awesome market! Prices are reasonable. And again the staff are great! Give them a visit.
Nice place very friendly helpful staff and owner/ manager! I bought a green mountain grill already assembled! Owner helped me load it!They have all high quality stuff here right down to blumers orange pop and coffee cake at the checkout!

I did a special order of their balsamic pork chops. I got 20 1-1/2 inch thick. Everyone loved them so much I got an ovation.
The people that work there are so nice. They
even helped me pick out dog treats for my very finicky dog. I bought 1 Beef knee cap, of which she hid right away. (I'm thinking she really liked it.) 1 package of Freeze dried chicken hearts, she ate them right up! And 1 Pig Ear, of which she devoured in 2 hours. I always buy my chicken breasts from this butcher shop because there is no comparison to any other! Tastiest and tenderest! I will only buy my meat from "Main Street Meats" in Roscoe, IL. Everone should! Thank you all for your wonderful hospitality! You are all Awesome!
