The decor could be updated and more authentic feeling. Service was kind with both girls behind counter very friendly. Shop is more focused on flavored latte drinks. However, the cold brew is amazing! Almond milk is available. Would love to see a local roaster supply and educate.
It’s my favorite local coffee place. Please DON’T compare it to Starbucks- **it’s better** than Starbucks.
Starbucks, although I go there if I’m desperate for time (Caffiend closes before 9pm I’m pretty sure), doesn’t have the same coffee taste as Caffiend does. There’s more syrup in their drinks or something. I haven’t figured out how to balance that out.
Caffiend does have other milk options like skim milk and almond milk, but not coconut milk. They do have coconut flavoring for drinks, though.
There’s a reward card if that’s a perk you need. The staff is friendly, and the food is delicious! Our favorite items are the bourbon pecan gourmet bar and chocolate muffin. It’s like a double chocolate muffin soufflé thing.
I love good coffee and lattes and they have it. My husband likes their selection of teas. I've only tried the chocolate chip muffin because it's so good that I haven't tried anything else!
Every drink I've ever ordered at Starbucks has left me unsatisfied. Every drink I've ordered at Caffiend has been nothing short of heaven in my mouth. Lots of flavor combos and amazing service even though I spilled my drink they were still polite
VERY special. I've visited this coffee shop at least 20 times in the 6 months that I lived in Rockton. I was surprised every time, that this non-chain, kind of hidden coffee shop was so DELICIOUS. I was never let down. Traveling through the country, sometimes it's hard to find a good coffee shop, I always said, "I wish there was a Caffiend around here." The atmosphere in the shop feels like a strip mall, but it's hard to get away from that, because it is. I almost always use the drive through. The mocha is wonderful and I have had a lot of mocha coffees around the country.
I would not compare this to Starbucks. Starbucks is for unique coffee from different parts of the world so for true coffee lovers. If you have only tried a latte from Starbucks and decided you hate them you are realy missing out they have many options of different coffees.
I enjoy the blended drinks from caffiend thats all I get. I like the way they are blended and have a creamy taste. My only downfall is maybe 3 flavors in the blended drinks you can actually taste really good where others I get and theres a very faint taste of the flavor which is disappointing to me.
Great coffee! Pleasant atmosphere! They have a fake fireplace in the corner so you can "cozy up" if you feel like it.
