Just stopped in for lunch on my way from New Mexico to Florida. Great hot dog and fries! Sure it would be a great venue to hear a band.
This is a hidden west Texas gem. There are three options when it comes to the Lumberyard 1) eat 2) attend a weekend concert 3) eat and attend a concert. You couldn’t go wrong with any of the options. The food is delicious. I’m not sure if it’s the burger that’s so dang good or the bun but whatever it is, the burgers are awesome. I will say it’s slightly annoying you have to pay for drinks by the can/bottle. 2) attending a concert- the concerts are extremely fun and they have amazing music that I’ve learned is called “red dirt country”. Most concerts allow children to attend and you can often find littles running around. There are a few options when it comes to concerts just pay and stand, bring a chair, or buy a table. I’m going to be honest concerts are a little pricey if you have a big family. The typical fee is $25 a person or $125 a table for up to 6 people. The ticket/table price does not include a free drink or fries. The prices makes it an unrealistic every weekend option for us BUT believe me if we could afford to take our family all the time we would.
We love this place so much!
Great burgers and homemade onion rings.
Heading back to San Antonio on the Harley and ducked in here to miss the storm. Chas was awesome and the food was delicious!!!
Fantastic food and atmosphere
mushroom onion burger and chili cheese hot dog we're good. Tater tots were nice and crispy, all of the basket wasn't really dead full. Somewhat long wait to order and then to get food. Friendly staff. Greeted us when we walked in and as we left.
