This was my first time at Ole Taco but I could tell that this place was good the moment I stepped out of my car and the familiar, greasy smell filled the air. The building and interior were nothing fancy but the bathroom was squeaky clean. Sometimes, that's all you can really ask for as far as first impressions are concerned. I ordered the smothered tamale and an order of red and green enchiladas, per the kind cashier's recommendation. Everything was delicious, fresh, and warm. From the various sauces that amply covered my plate down to the free rice and beans that came with my meal. I will definitely be stopping here my next time in Ruidoso.
I have been coming here my entire life, and it never dissapoints. The Ole tacos are delicious! Not the best place if you are in a hurry, they take the time to make it right. A true family mom and pop that is well worth the stop.

Ole taco is the best place to get your tatey tacos 🌮 nobody else know that you gotta fry a corn tortilla then add all the tastey fixing not get a crunchy store brand shell with tasty goods. Fried tortilla with meat lettuce tomato 🍅 yum. Also number 1 in my book is that they share the love of Jesus I've noticed that since the first time I went there
On a work trip from pensacola Florida and I love small little mom and pops places and decided to give Ole Taco a try and man I was impressed very friendly atmosphere Fairly priced and wonderful Mexican food. I would definitely give it a 10/10 rating and will come back
The salsa is perfect!!! This place doesn't look like much, but the food is great. Surprisingly affordable amongst some of the other overpriced options, the staff is small, so be patient. Personally, I don't mind waiting for delicious green chile covered enchiladas.
