I have been trying different burgers from this place and I have been enjoying the things on their menu. I have tried 3 of their exotic burgers - the Wild Boar-ger, the Buffalo Burger, and the Elk Burger. The Wild Boar-ger and the Buffalo Burger were good, but the Elk Burger was amazing. The meat and flavor of all of the things it had melted in my mouth so beautifully. I was in a state of bliss while I ate it. The food is a bit pricey but it's pure quality. All of the seating is outdoors. I had the fries and they were good, but I think if they were thicker and were to add seasonings with the salt, they would be 1000 times better.
Our overall experience was great. This a small burger shack that offers many food, drink and snack options. Outdoor seating is available. We ordered the pastrami burger, pesto chicken sandwich protein style, zucchini sticks, a banana milk shake, and a lime slushi. Very fair pricing, quick service and good food. The banana shake was delicious!! We'll be back very soon.
Cookies is an east sac staple. It’s been there for 50 years or very close to it. My parents took me there just about every week growing up and I’m 50 now. The family that runs it is great also, they are like family. I don’t live in Sac anymore but when I go though there it’s a must stop for a great burger and shake.
