Amazingly Good. The place doesn't look like much, but there is a good selection of lunch items to choose from and everything seemed home made. Lots of locals were eating there, which is often a good sign. My husbands's burger was very good, cole slaw was great and my portobello mushroom burger with pesto, lettuce & tomato on a delicious whole wheat bun was out of this world delicious. Never seen or had anything that good in the vegetarian genre almost anywhere in the world, let alone at a roadside cafe. The waitress was knowledgeable & efficient, even though she was covering all the tables. They only serve breakfast & lunch, so don't come for dinner & be disappointed.
This place is one of the best in town! I am from the area and we go all the time. The people are great and the food is too. I travel alot and I always find that the place where the locals eat is the place to go. Everything isn't homemade, but it's all very good. There was a review I saw where the person wasn't satisfied with their experience and all I can say is that person needs to stick to mcdonalds or burgerking. That way there will be open tables for the rest of us to enjoy ourselves. To the people at Audubon's, you just keep on doing what you are doing!!
The large cheese hamburger w sourdough bread is outstanding - great for the macho and the Renaissance types - oh and w grilled onions - ohhahhh
Amazing restaurant. Staff was super friendly. Probably the best breakfast I have ever had. The roast beef and cheese was fantastic. Biscuits and gravy were very good also. So pleased with a caring , friendly group of employees. A gem everyone should experience.
The Mac and cheeseburger as well as the strawberry bread pudding was amazing. Highly recommend this place.
They have the best coconut shell pie! The food was fantastic.

This place is great. It is like stepping back in time or maybe like going to a friend's house for dinner. I saw one lady get a sample of the casserole before she ordered it.
The food was excellent and we got great service even though we were not a locals. We will certainly be back.

Breakfast here is good Southern old-fashioned home cooking. Grits with bacon and a side of toast with jelly is my favorite.
Lunch is just as delicious. Love the salads, rueben and the burger is one of the best in town. Daily specials are always good too.
