Our experience was wonderful. Asked for seating on the patio and it was delightful. Our waiter, Brian, was fantastic. He guided us to an exceptional, Pino Grigio. The salad was fantastic and the pasta even better. Favazzas has long been a stop on our visits to The Hill!
This was my first time to the Hill and Favazza's was recommended by a complete stranger at a shop in St. Charles. I had the special and it was to die for...the only disappointing thing about the meal was I could not eat it all and since I was staying at a Hotel I could not take the leftovers with me. I will be back.
Favazza's Italian restaurant is a timeless gem, standing strong since 1978. The authenticity of their Italian cuisine is a journey for the taste buds. From the rich, flavorful pasta dishes to the perfectly seasoned sauces, each bite is a celebration of tradition. The ambiance echoes the restaurant's history, creating a charming setting for a memorable dining experience. Favazza's commitment to genuine Italian flavors is a testament to its enduring popularity. A must-visit for those seeking a taste of Italy with a touch of culinary history.
It was unseasonably chilly today, and we enjoyed our lunch on the patio. Our server, Lauren, was knowledgeable and attentive. The food, as always, was more than enough. Great value for a lunch menu. I mentioned that it was my birthday and we were presented with amaretto ice cream pie. So delicious!
A charming St Louis Hill Italian restaurant with a nice selection of dishes and plenty of seating for groups. The cannelloni was recommended and definitely delicious as I ate it all!
Tips:
good for large groups
Parking area for the restaurant is about half a block down
Cheese garlic bread was very good and the group ate it all
There is a nice patio outside too
Really enjoyed this place. Food was fantastic, location was nice, the outdoor patio area is really neat. Star missing for service, didn’t get a side I ordered but they made up for it
You can’t go wrong with Italian on The Hill on The Hill in St. Louis and Favazza’s is a most stop spot. The atmosphere and the food are incredible. We had lunch and left saying how wonderful everything was. We will return.
While the bread & butter and pasta didn't quite impress me, the chicken special was truly exceptional and left me pleasantly surprised. The tiramisu was pure deliciousness, and the cannoli was also quite tasty. House salad is a must! Service was top tier.
Service was really good. Food was as recommended by the waitress and her recommendation was good. I came to the hill area headed on recommendation and loved that I ate here. Their wine collection is good and chicken is so well cooked.
great food service and atmosphere 👌🏻 👍 👏. the amaretto pie was the best pie i have ever had. so dang good.
This was actually our first time at an authentic Italian restaurant and I must say it, we will definitely be back. For about the same price you’d pay at Olive Garden or Cheesecake factory I’d rather just come here. Wish I would’ve done it sooner.
We were greeted by the host and didn’t wait too long to be seated. (roughly 10 minutes) on a Saturday night.
The waiter was absolutely awesome he didn’t rush us unlike other establishments do. The food! The food such a huge portion for the right price! We had to take left overs home. My wife also has celiac disease, and I’ll tell you they had so much options on their gluten free menu so it was nice coming to an authentic restaurant and to know they had many options. ( she even said this was the best gluten free pasta she has ever had )
They even brought out a gluten free pie for her! We will definitely be coming back more often. The ambiance was amazing, beautiful old style Italian theme felt like I was in little
Italy.
Wonderful Italian place on the Hill, food as always was superb, had meat ball mostaccioli and my dinning companion had one of the seafood special. The atmosphere is always friendly, and our server was wonderful. It was a great meal to end the day.
