Had 12 of us for Saturday dinner group. Owner helped us choose entrees to share, family style. Had walnut shrimp, seafood rice, duck, eggplant, sweet and sour chicken and a few other dishes (can't remember all). Everything tasted great. Nice atmosphere, great service. We will be adding this to our Saturday dinner rotation.
By far the best Chinese food in St. Louis. The service was impeccable, we were treated like family. I can not wait to go on a Saturday or Sunday for dim sum. 谢谢你的伟大的经验。
My wife and I have been ordering from this place for a few years for dinner and the occasional lunch special. It's exactly what you would expect and want in an American Chinese delivery place. Quick delivery, hot food, delicious and acceptable prices. We've never had an order delivered in correct. While we haven't explored the entire menu, I've had a fair amount of things and have only been disappointed with a few choices. The hot braised chicken, sweet and sour chicken, beef and broccoli, lo mein, sesame chicken and empress chicken are all fantastic. The delivery people are always friendly while the people who take our orders are always upbeat and cordial. This is our favorite delivery location in St. Louis!
I've only come here for their lunch specials, and its definitely a great, cheap Chinese meal. For less than $9 you can fill yourself up with a lunch combo that includes soup and appetizers. Granted, the quality of the food is not fantastic, but you get what you pay for. The boiled pot stickers are on point here.
Very enlightening. I had a former college student of mine take both my wife and I here for a Chinese breakfast. I'm not going to lie, I didn't know Chinese people ate breakfast. Cut me some slack, I've never seen one open for breakfast. The owner was very nice and the servers were great. I'm glad I went with a regular otherwise I would have had trouble knowing what some things were. I liked everything except for the pickled chicken foot and the tripe (I'm sure it was done very well though). I did try it though.
Wonderful food, impeccable service.. I like dim sum, but admittedly, I don't know much about what is "good" or "bad" or authentic. I've been here twice.
I had various dim sum the first time, ordered by my friend who is a regular, and all of it was great, especially the sliced pork dish. My second visit I asked the waitress to order for me, but something pork. She brought a spicy pork dish that was awesome, albeit spicy. [But a spice that was more chile than acidic.]
The service is quick, and the food is usually at the table within 5-10 minutes, even during a busy lunch hour.
My second visit, we arrived near the end of their business day, and when we asked for to go boxes, they heaped extra rice and entrée on us to take with.
They do a busy lunch hour, but this place is great no matter the time of day.
Authentic Chinese food. As a Chinese immigrant (Cantonese, to be specific), I can say that they serve some of the most authentic Cantonese-Chinese food in St Louis.
However, unless you look Chinese, you may need to ask them for the Chinese dinner menu. Price range is $7 to $9 -- much lower than what other Chinese restaurants charge.
Right when you open the door you know you're going to have a different experience here then at most resturaunts. You get seated in less than fiveinutes and the service is impecible.
This week, we moved away from All-You-Can-Eat Indian buffets and decided to try a cuisine that has always had reliably cheap luncheon deals: Chinese food. We headed out on Olive and decided on Wonton King . While there is a more formal lunch menu at Wonto
It’s self seating when you get inside. You pick a table and a waiter will come to you once you’re seated. We tried a variety of different dishes on the lazy Susan - all were great. Super filling. Service was also fast and very friendly. Prices were around your typical higher end Chinese restaurant with the shrimp lo mein going for $17. Definitely would recommend if you’re visiting St. Louis and looking for a dinner restaurant.
I always take my children out to try different types of foods. We actually loved this place. The workers/waitresses were so pleasant and the food was fresh and delicious. As soon as we sat down, we were greeted. Highly recommended 👌
I have been eating the Wor Won Ton soup here for as long as I can remember. Quality has always been excellent and this time it was no exception. The ingredients are all very tasty and the veggies fresh. The broth is what makes this soup so good. Always an excellent value for the money. I have this for lunch and I’m usually good for the day! Service is always fast and very friendly. On top of all that the place is spotless. My only complaint is now that I work out of town I can’t enjoy the soup as often as I would like. If you haven’t been to this long established Calgary diner I strongly suggest you go! Happy Holidays!
We ordered the BBQ pork with wontons and wonton soup with beef brisket. Their wonton broth is very good - not too sweet and flavorful. I will definitely be going back to try their dim sum, since we just missed it. The place was pretty large and only had a few tables occupied but we did eat dinner at 345.
Went here the day before Thanksgiving. We got 2 orders of the broccoli and beef. It tasted good about the same as the other restaurants like it in the area
First time here and I ordered cashew chicken from the lunch menu and my soup option I chose hot and sour soup. The soup was awesome. It was the right thickness and it had the right amount of heat. The cashew chicken was not very good. The sauce wasn’t quite right and the cashews and other ingredients tasted stale. If the ingredients aren’t fresh it makes a HUGE difference. The meal came with a crab Rangoon and a wonton and both seemed stale to me. Our server was friendly and provided great service. I’ll give them another try.
Was in town on a worktrip and wanted dim sum.
I ordered the hot and sour soup, har cao, fried shrimp balls, rice noodles w shrimp, and the chrysanthemums tea. They were good. Will come back if I'm in the area.
Excellent Hong Kong Chinese food. They have a menu for authentic Chinese dishes. I really enjoyed the general tso chicken. They have the best hot & sour soup I’ve ever tried. Crab ragoons are good. I recommend ordering pork dumpling and shrimp dim sum and bbq pork buns too. Excellence Chinese food.
We just tried the appetizers at lunch rather than a large meal, most of which we'd have to cart home. Best hot and sour soup I've ever had -- rich and thick and with pieces of chicken. The pot stickers were also the best I've ever had, stuffed full not of paste, but generous meat balls all inside a perfectly steamed confection with fried bottoms. This has become my new favorite place and I WILL be ordering from the menu next time.
Unfortunately the best dim sum place in St Louis, better than having nothing. The dim sums were fine. The crispy pork belly was delicious. The reason I only give four stars is that except the two things I mentioned, everything else is not very good. The bbq pork was not edible at all. So a general advice is to come to this place for dim sums.
