Gotham & Eggs offers a unique dining experience for both breakfast and lunch enthusiasts and superhero fans alike. We had a time in there looking at all the superheroes. The concept of a superhero-themed diner is both creative and captivating. The owners, Jason and Shani, bring their expertise to create the perfect diner.

We got the slinger, biscuit and gravy, cinnamon roll, and pancake. Unfortunately the knife was so dull we struggled to cut through the pancake and cinnamon roll. But both them were pretty good. The biscuit and gravy was probably a 6/10 because it had an off taste in the gravy, but the biscuit was delicious. The chili lacked heat and salt, but overall the dish was great. The best thing on the table was the cubed potatoes! Crunchy and tasty, even after being slathered in egg yolk and chili. Would definitely come back with my marvel and dc obsessed family and friends. Would be good drunk dinner too
The food was very satisfying, priced reasonably. The staff were very kind and considerate, and the space was very thrilling. Made me wish I came with a kiddo!
I got the Pym-Cakes with blueberries and crumbled my bacon on top, very tasty and classically made to perfection.
Only reason I put 4 instead of 5 stars on atmosphere is the interior lighting is very harsh and cold when every other aspect of the space is warm and inviting.
I wish this place many years of success truly an amazing crew.

Exemplary service, decor and themeing , ok food. Roost had an hour wait so we went down the block for breakfast, I wasn't disappointed. We had immediate seating at 11, those arriving after had a 10-15 minute wait. Took about 30 minutes to get our breakfast, and we were checked on and offered coffee refreshers several times. When it came out my waffle was maybe a touch overdone and no longer warm enough to melt the butter, my fiancees French toast was more fresh from the fryer. My eggs were correctly over easy with intact yolks and she loved her cheesy scrambled eggs. I liked that there were multiple waffle plus protein options, a lot of breakfast places are one or the other, and for a good price too.
The whole place including the menu is comic book themed, which goes well with the 50s diner theme that looks like was already here. It's a big restaurant with outdoor seating available as well. Everything was clean, staff were pleasant and attentive. It's been open about 2 months, and seems like they're still working out some kinks, I hope they manage as its a fun concept, ripe for cross promotion with other local geekery.
Great to see a fun new themed diner in the area. Friendly, lively, wonderful atmosphere. We will definitely be back. We had the chicken and waffles and smash burger, both very good. Waffle fries were perfect.
MJ, my stepson and I tried this place out for a late breakfast. It is in the building in which South City Diner was housed. This new place has been open for a couple of months, so we decided to try it out.
First of all, the decor is based on the Marvel comic strip franchise. Batman of course is quite prominent. Pictures and likenesses of other comic book heroes are prominent on the walls. Kids should like this.
As for the food, we were impressed. I had pancakes with blueberries and lemon curd. Fried eggs, sausage, and cube potatoes rounded out my meal. I enjoyed it all. MJ was pleased with her waffles with strawberries. Ashton had eggs, bacon and a pastry which was quite tasty. We all enjoyed the potatoes and bacon which we also ordered.
This place serves lunch as well. The menu for those meals looked very good. You should try this place out when you get the chance. The food and the service are quite good. The prices are reasonable. I think this place is a winner.
Very cool space, expertly decorated. Very kind server, though I could have used more coffee refills.
I don't care for the gravy. Apparently it's the same base for vegetarian and regular--they just add sausage--so items with gravy won't work for me. The "frittata" was not a frittata--it was three egg bites, which seemed microwaved. The fruit I got was delicious, though! (Strawberries and blueberries, a solid portion.) Also good coffee. And the price was *fantastic.* We both ate for under $30.
My partner got a vegetarian slinger. He was happy to have the option, but it was a lot more food than he bargained for. (I, on the other hand, was not full after eating my food.) We both want to try it again and see if we like other items better.

Absolutely wonderful. The atmosphere is nerdy and casual with a splash of classic diner vibes. The booths, tables and chairs, and bar are so old school diner. The Hulk Smash Burger was great and the waffle fries are perfectly crunchy *chef's kiss*. The Super Chicken and Marvelous Waffle was perfection! Huge waffle with juicy, fries chicken. Syrup on the side so you can't load up the flavor holes how you like.
THE FLOORS WERE NOT STICKY!! Why these bitter people want to ruin a brand new business over that is beyond me. Check out Gotham and Eggs' Facebook to see why they were sticky. Old floors needed rehabbing, surprise, surprise. This place is very clean, so don't worry. The staff ( our waitor, Will, was so delightful and sweet) was polite and casual and we were even told to move around and look at all the cool memorabilia. It's like a comic museum in there. One of the staff offered us a test run of a special infused lemonade because they ordered too many of an ingredient. I thought it was great and hope to see it on the menu soon.
Long story short, this place is great and I'm glad to have them in the neighborhood I hope more people visit and enjoy!
Classic diner fare at a fair price. I really enjoyed their menus being comic book themed. The atmosphere is a bit clinical — I’m not fond of the lighting and some of the graphic design choices feel a little “homebrew” — but the food and service, which is where it counts, checked all the boxes. Humble, delicious, affordable. Try it out sometime
OMG!!! THIS IS THE PERFECT PLACE FOR COMIC BOOK/COLLECTORS TO EAT GREAT FOOD AND READ COMICS. THEIR MENU EVEN LOOKS LIKE A COMIC BOOK. I ATE MY BREAKFAST (WHICH WAS GREAT) AND READ COMICS 😁😁😁 I WILL BE BACK
