Went out for lunch with my son and brother and his girlfriend and it was great. The food was great. The drinks seemed good. And our waitress was fantastic!
It was a beautiful day to have lunch by the lake. The food was good. Service was a bit slow, he was friendly though. I've worked in the food industry. Maybe he was new or something. I will go back.
I have gone to the Lakehouse for years! I absolutely love it. Its fun. Friendly, and well priced. You CANNOT beat their sweet potato waffle fries, maple ranch dip, or their Long Island Pitchers. The view on the patio is great, and the servers are super friendly.

Love walking around the park for exercise here. The bar is on the path. They used to have some live performances every once and a while but I’m not sure if they still do or not. When it’s warm out, this is the perfect place to eat outside. You see walkers, skaters and bikers enjoying the path and you get a glimpse of the lake. The menu is just okay but they make a bomb @&s Bloody Mary. Oh! They have $5 Long Island pitchers, dart boards and tvs outside on the patio too.
Good environment. Loved the outdoor seating. It took a little long on the service an time receiving food. But overall I enjoyed the chicken and coleslaw. The view an the lake we're really pretty. First time being in a environment that offered me little to no stress.
The staff here is amazing!!! Everybody is so sweet even when they’re super busy they always show fantastic hospitality !! The food here is amazing bistro/bar food that was prepped and cooked fresh!! And Chanel is such a sweetheart !! Directed me exactly to my preference of spirit on the bar menu !! Definitely will be returning !!
There are few places in St. Louis where you can dine by the side of a lake -- and this is one. Tucked off the beaten path just south of Creve Coeur Lake is Mallard Lake, and the Lakehouse's patio offers a wonderful view and cool breezes. The food is good, with sandwiches, wraps and burgers. (The Turtle Caramel Brownie a la Mode will melt your brain it's so good.) Prices are reasonable with some great bargains -- a pitcher of long island ice tea for $5? Wow!

My food was very good, but the server needs an attitude adjustment. She did her job, but she was not happy we were there.
We had two tables of ladies for lunch, with different servers, when the group came in, they were told they should only order salads because there was a reservation for another party coming in and they have had reservations for a while. We never saw the other party. Maybe they are short staffed? Maybe they should have some employees they can call in when it gets busy.
I also heard about another time the group tried to make reservations, they were told to eat before they came, that they could get appetizers and drinks, but not dinner.
I am guessing the owner doesn't know that this is how the restaurant is being ran. I am hoping she will read this review and this place will be better soon.
Notes: you have to go in the front door to get to the patio. They will charge you 50 cents if you ask for some honey mustard. You can ride your bike here from the Katy Trail if you go over the 364 bridge or from Creve Couer lake trail. You used to be able to have dogs on the patio, I dont know if you still can, I didn't see any this time.
The Lakehouse is a great place to recoup some of the calories you just burned running, riding or paddling around CC Lake. Solid bar food menu. Decent selection of drinks including a good set of beers on tap. Dog friendly and a large outdoor seating area with a view of the south end of the lake.
On my latest visit, Chanel was amazing. Super friendly. I sat at the bar right before an entire soccer team and their families got seated in her section. She got my order in and the proceeded to patiently take 15+ families’ orders like it was no big deal. All while tending bar. Extra props to her!

Great restaurant for an evening meal. Masks required when not at your table. View is excellent and service is friendly and prompt. Even saw some deer while waiting for our table to be ready.
