The music was good. Plenty of food places to eat as well. The music was good. Unfortunately it was very sunny and hot so found a spot under trees and put my feet in the stream of water in rock bed. Left earlier then I wanted due heat.

Mears Park is an idilic, breathtaking neighborhood park to be enjoyed by Lowertown residents and tourists alike. Its many gorgeous gardens are independently cared for by volunteers of The Friends of Mears Park. It's home to free music and other cultural events throughout the year along with an exquisite holiday light exhibition during winter months. It's a local favorite for photo shoots due to its lush greenery and the famous creek that runs down the middle of the park. You can choose to sit on one of several benches, rock formations or rocks creekside and enjoy some rest and relaxation. Mears Park...it doesn't disappoint.

We love having this park so close to our studio! It offers a great place to sit outside, complete with a stream and a stage that often boasts live music. The park is filled with birds and squirrels all summer. It feels like an oasis in the middle of the city!
