The Cheesecake Factory is a frequent venue for family celebrations. Arrive early if you are eating dinner, particularly on weekends, as this location is very busy. Most of our visits, service has been prompt and courteous. They offer a large variety of entree selections, and my choices are always tasty.

Good food, poor service. Have eaten at the Cheesecake Factory downtown several times and have loved food and service. However, recently ate there on a Sat. during the Christmas season and was disappointed with the service. The restaurant was extremely busy, given the season. The problem was, our waiter was more interested in the football game than waiting on my party and I. Unfortunately, we were not sitting by the TV, but across the asile where we could see our waiter, numerous times, waiting on the table that provided a great view to the current game being broadcast. He frequently stopped and chatted with the table, refilled their drinks, brought them more bread, etc. This provided him an excuse to stall at the table to catch 30-60 seconds of the game. Our table was not the only one affected as I heard the tables next to us complaining about getting their water refilled, needing something or other that he was supposed to be getting, and the delay in getting their bill. I would not be so harsh, being that the restaurant was full and extremely busy, but witnessing a waiter more interested in a ball game than waiting his tables is not good. Lesson learned: Ask for a table by a TV, you may get better service.
Have been to the Cheesecake Factory before but have never tried this location before. Seeing it was Halloween night, we got sat immediately. Our server Jeff was one of the best we ever had. Very friendly, gave great suggestions, and professional. We ordered the hibachi steak and the bang curry dish. Both were to die for! Skipped out on the cheesecake, but definitely tasty. Overall a wonderful experience.
Suprisingly good. I hadn't been to Cheesecake in a while. I was hanging out with some friends and we decided to give it a shot. It exceeded my expectations. They said it would be a 30 minute wait, but we really only waited around 10 minutes. The food was great. I had the mac and cheese burger and it was better than I expected, and of course the cheesecake is always great.

My husband and I lunch here despite dating some of the previous reviews. We had excellent service from Camilo! We were started quickly and he promptly took our drink orders and brought bread. We both had the chicken picatta and it was delicious!!! Would definitely come back!!
More than just Cheesecake. I like some entrees more than others but it's always been a great experience for me and my guests. They have an eggplant sandwich that I really, really enjoy and the avocado eggrolls sound a little curious but they are an excellent experience in themselves.

Decent Food But Worth the Wait?. Granted this was opening weekend of the new City Creek Mall, but our "2 hour" estimated wait turned into a 3+ hour wait and the food tasted the exact same as any other crowded Cheesecake Factory.
Surprisingly there aren't a lot of dining options (besides the food court across the street) in the new City Creek Center, so Cheesecake Factory has a monopoly of sorts on a sit-down dining experience unless you leave the mall area.
We anticipated a long wait -- after all, when have you not waited at on of their restaurants? -- so we weren't surprised by 2 hours. 2 hours came and they told us 15 more minutes. 30 minutes passed and they said 15 more minutes. I began thinking that "15 minutes" is their standard answer to all inquiries on wait times.
The girl that seated us was super talkative and a little socially awkward. Our waitress seemed tired and rushed. She forgot simple things like a steak knife for our meat and utensils with our cheesecake, and sit always took her several minutes to even pass by in our direction to ask for help.
The atmosphere will likely change a bit as the newness factor wears off in the upcoming months, but it was pretty fun sitting outside on the patio watching the valets running around, the security yelling at people to stay off the street, and the general hustle and bustle of people excited to view the new mall. I'd recommend sitting outside (less crowded and much more quiet) even if it's cold because they have gas lamps next to every table.
The food is always a difficult decision because their menu is literally a short novel. But we tried the fried mac and cheese balls for appetizer (awesome), the pork chop (so-so, probably wouldn't have it again), and the spicy chicken cashew (amazing). We ended with some cheesecakes but I have no recommendation... they are all incredible and it depends on your mood that day.
Dinner was amazing! Great spot for date night! The service was really and good thing we had reservations because the line was out the door! The food came out quick and was really delicious! We also got the limited edition peppermint cheesecake and it was outstanding!
The Cheesecake Factory has a bigger menu than probably any other restaurant. If you have a group that can’t decide on American, Chinese or even pasta this place has it all. Of course, the best reason to go here is because of the cheesecake. If you’re not a fan of cheesecake I highly recommend you try one of the chocolate cheesecakes such as the Ghirardelli chocolate cheesecake and you will be a big fan of cheesecake from now on.
Cheesecake factory establishments tend to go one of two ways and this one does the preferred; clean and welcoming atmosphere, well-lighted and courteous service. The food was quite good. It was nothing revolutionary but if you're in the market for a cheeseburger, this is it. Bourbon and beer selection was more than adequate.

I recommend this place to everyone who wants to try some delicious and tasty food with a chill atmosphere.
Recommended dishes: Bacon-Bacon-Cheeseburger and the white chocolate cheesecake (both are on the pictures)
To the owners: Give a good shout out to the employees, they are so chill and helpfull. You can really feel, that they love their job. Please stay as awesome as you are.
Make reservations or go early to avoid wait times. We went to lunch at 11:30 and it was fine. We have been several times in the evening and turned away. So reservation’s are key.
We had the lunch salmon and the chicken bang bang. The salmon was good but the bang bang chicken was better. If you get the salmon just get it grilled with sauce on the side.
The restrooms were clean, but busy. Plenty of waiter staff and our waiter was very attentive watch your portions and save room, so you can have cheesecake afterwards. We took our cheesecake home and it made for a very delightful evening treat.
I love the ambience, it’s beautiful. The severs in Utah are so friendly. Just a minor issue with food but everything was great. Servings is huge. I enjoyed my visit in the restaurant and will be back if I get the chance again😊
Great place to go out to eat for a date night. The food is fantastic and there's so much of it. We had to take most of it home. The menu has so much its hard to decide what to eat. We had the pineapple chicken, shrimp and the bistro shrimp pasta, cherry cheesecake, and celebration cheesecake. Gets kind of pricy real quick, but we took most of it home for dinner the next night.

This is the first time visiting a cheesecake factory in Utah, and for some reason I see a difference between the California ones. There’s is something missing in this one, starting by the customer service, I made a reservation for my party of 4 and at the entrance I had to wait for the hostess to be helped and she was not polite, she was kinda absorbed by the hurry ambient she was surrounded with. The silverware and specially the glasses for our wine bottle were very stained, the glasses seemed to be not polished or at least well dried. Our server took long time to check on us and took long time to bring our food for 4 simple dishes, I saw lack of professionalism on him, but he did what he could for us, the only one who was very active and efficient in my point of view was the food runner, and even she was “running” here and there, we asked her for napkins that we didn’t have on the table and she was so quick and nice to bring them for us. The food was okay, nothing out of the common taste. There was party of many people next to us and it was annoying, and loud (I know that is not a business fault). The place looks clean and neat, but at the entrance those menus that are messily placed at the top of the counter look very bad. For the rest we enjoyed our food and celebration.
We were able to sit in the bar area. The food was delicious. And I appreciated so much that is was warm and made perfectly. We had the Avacado egg rolls and the Chicken Piccata for dinner. Very friendly wait staff and checked on infrequently, even though she wasn’t very busy. We had to wait a long time for refills for drinks, our check, and she was busy visiting with the bartender.

The cheesecake was slightly mushed during transport (it was packed sideways into the bag) but still tasted excellent!
Service was fast with seating near the waiting area.
I ordered takeout, but from what I was the ambiance was friendly and open.
