Usually eat grilled beef vermicelli was super good ! But today I try Bun mum . It's even better .... love to hang out with friends here . Good company and good food .
We recently ate at Pho Hong Chau and thoroughly enjoyed every dish we ordered. The portions were huge, and the pho was very good. In addition to Pho, Banh Khot was so tasty. I had never had it with coconut cream on top before and it truly added a delicious twist to this dish. Overall, I highly recommend Pho Hong Chau to anyone looking for some delicious Vietnamese food. The portions are generous and the service is excellent.
Great food here. They have a mix of “Americanized” Chinese food and authentic dishes. The sizes are almost family style so you could order a couple and share. The flavors are really yummy. I liked the tofu-it was a soft tofu with an awesome sauce. The beef curry was great as well. When you check out you have to get your servers attention and pay upfront.
We found this Vietnamese place in Chinatown today and it did not disappoint. The food was authentic in flavor and delicious. The noodle dishes were light and refreshing. The mini pancakes were crunchy, creamy bites of bliss. Can't wait to come back to try other dishes. Do yourself a favor and try this place out!
The pho was good and had a lot in the bowl. It’s an awesome deal for what your paying.

Overall, this place deserves 4 stars. We have eaten here several times at lunch/dinner and for dine-in/take-out.
Pros: good food, you can tell they actually put effort in making the food. I definitely recommend their spicy beef noodle soup (bún bò Huế, rice plate with chopped grilled pork (cơm tấm thịt nướng), My Tho/Nam Vang noodles soup and vermicelli egg rolls/grilled pork. Their portion size is reasonable for the price. These are the reasons why we keep coming back.
Cons: inconsistent services and wait time. Sometimes their service is okay, sometimes bad. I have never been here for one time that the service is good, but overall just acceptable-ish. Wait time is subjected to how busy they are, but overall you can expect to wait at least half an hour for your food. If you don’t want to wait long, call them ahead to order and just come in to pick up your order.
They recently remodeled the space, so the interior looks much better now and more spacious. So far, this restaurant will be our continuing destination when we crave for the Vietnamese dishes listed above. I do recommend!
Lots of unique options here. It seems to be a family run business and everything is authentic and tasty that I tried. I had a “stinky fish” noodle soup and a tofu spring roll. Even late in the afternoon, we’ll before dinner time there were plenty of customers. Definitely I would come back to try some of the other things they offer here.
Stopped here for lunch after landing at SLC, on our way to Grand Teton & Yellowstone. Wanted our last Vietnamese meal for the week. It was a pleasant surprise. Everything were excellent. Highly recommended.
Hong Chau is one of my favorite places to eat Asian food. They have a lot of different quality options that you cant get at other restaurants. Im sad to see they no longer do delivery but that won't stop me from stopping in once in a while!
Good food and decent service. I recommend any of the pho as well as the rolls. I had a house rice dish with every meat you can imagine and it was good, but the pho is better.
