If I could give this coffee shop 10 stars, I would.... Everything from the inside vibe, to the unique downtown location, excellent service, AND they have the BEST New York Style pizza I have had since I last visited New York! My review: The pizza wasn’t over cooked, it had a robust/flavorful sauce and plenty of it (I hate a dry pizza and usually have to ask for extra sauce — not here), thick pepperoni slices, and the high quality cheese provided a nice flavorful/thick layer of cheesy goodness. Nobody in San Angelo should be ordering from chain pizza restaurants when we have a gem pizza place like this here in our town. Besides, we should all support locally, family-owned businesses... Lots of people try to imitate NY style pizza, but Stango’s does it RIGHT and authentic! The taste doesn’t lie. Sorry, but Cork & Pig doesn’t hold a flame to this place.

Just popped in for pizzas and drinks with our three kiddos- I'm from upstate NY and a total pizza snob because I grew up on authentic NY style pizza. This pizza is the closest taste of home I have found in Texas!! Crispy thin crust, large slices, and hot delicious cheese-yum!! The ambiance is fun, we even got up to swing dance- and the service was awesome! Our server was friendly, came to refill drinks several times, and the food was piping hot!

The turtle caramel frapp is amazing, the waitress was super nice AND they brought my 8 month old a cup of their yummy whipped cream. Love the environment BUT the other waitress staff was not very attentive when we first walked in. All in all i'm rating Stango's a 5 because it was a good place to hang out with family.
