I had a banker call my office. He wanted a get to know you meeting. I wasn't expecting the call so I knew I'd be giving an eye to unfinished work on my desk and so not give him my full attention if we met in my office. Because of that, I suggested we meet for lunch. He agreed and we decided on 5 points. I'd bicycled past this building many times over the last ten years but I'd never been inside until this week. Try to imagine stepping into a place which makes you feel like you're in some cosmopolitan coffee shop/nosh place. The atmosphere creates such an inviting feeling for you and stimulates the senses. It doesn't have a large menu but you can find something which will suite you whether carnivore or vegetarian. I'm an omnivore but I wanted meat so I opted for the $14 WARRIOR BOWL consisting of grilled marinated flank steak, roasted beet & potato salad, avocado, fresh free-range poached egg, over fresh organic mixed greens tossed with a house made vinaigrette. Normally I season my food before tasting it. The banker had been here before and mentioned how the food here needs no additional seasoning. He was right. It was perfectly balanced. Man, I feasted. Not only on the food but the atmosphere. It energized me. Who comes here? Couples having a bite, the locals and a few business people including me who were looking to create symbiotic business relationships. Support small business as often as you can.

As an out of towner, this restaurant is refreshing for a health conscious celiac! The food is delicious, the staff is super friendly! Awesome baked goods, great coffee! Highly recommend to locals and visitors alike! Enjoy!
