My husband and I celebrated our 23rd Wedding Anniversary at the Chart House this past weekend. The view and the food were amazing but the staff was the absolute best! They printed us custom menus, took pics table side and were so friendly and genuine that we felt like VIP’s for sure! The chef and manager both even took a minute to check in and help us celebrate personally. We would highly recommend the Chart House for your special event!

This gorgeous restaurant, located in the Tower of the Americas, was so fun! It was one for the memory books for sure. Seeing San Antonio from those heights on a beautiful day was something I would definitely recommend for any special occasion! From the glass elevator ride, to the 360 rotation of the restaurant every 34 minutes. It was worth the slightly higher-than-your-ususl dinner prices .
Great atmosphere, great food, great service, and a great view. Food is well priced for the experience. I would definitely recommend trying to get a sunset seating. Make sure to reserve ahead of time. The hummus was kind of eh. Good, but next time I'll try something different.
We REALLY enjoyed ourselves. I highly recommend the lunch menu if you're on a budget like we were - the portions were still large and delicious and fresh. Our waitress was Megan and she was great! The views are spectacular and the atmosphere can't be beat. We made some great memories up there today!
The food was decent. The service was amazing. You cannot beat the view and the ambiance. The elevator ride to the top was spectacular. The floor of the restaurant rotates so every couple of minutes you get a new view of the city. The chocolate molten lava cake was a show stopper! For this experience, it's very reasonably priced.
First time experience was great and enjoyable. Food was great, serving was good and especially the 360 view was incredible. The only challenge was we dine early afternoon and it was still summer. So when facing west it was very sunny and bright. I highly recommend people to experience this place when they are in San Antonio.
The only reason to go here is for dessert and drinks. Although my salmon was very good, my husband's steak was mediocre at best. It was not real hot when it came out. The views are incredible!!! Also the best reason to go. Order the lava cake when they bring your meal because it takes 20-30 min to cook. I was not overly impressed with the waiter we had. We had a couple with us who had to set behind us and we had to find a waiter to take their drink order. It seemed really disorganized. But the views are worth it, just go for drinks and dessert and take it in.
We had a reservation for a table next to the window, but when we got there we didn’t have what we asked for. Fortunately within about 10 minutes, got us a table that we wanted. The food was tasty. A bit pricey, but worth the view. The restaurant rotates all around within an hour. Beautiful view! Fun elevator ride. Only thing, needs a better airflow and especially conditioning! It gets very hot from the sun
I would go back for apps and drinks.
The appetizer was the best thing we ordered. It had shrimp, avocado, and mango, and it was served with taro chips. Our blackened salmon was tasty, but the shrimp that came with that was a good bit overcooked. The whiskey drink my husband ordered came with a side table presentation smoked glass. It was pretty fun to watch.
Can't beat the view, but I would recommend waiting until it's under 80 degrees outside as the single pane windows made it extremely warm in the restaurant.
Our waiter that we had was a bit stretched on the Thursday that we went. Overall, it was a pretty fun date place.
We were served by Jeremy and he was phenomenal! Bright and helpful the entire experience and we loved all of his recommendations. The restaurant itself can be jarring to those with a fear of heights or get motion sick easily as it is constantly moving in a circle at a slow pace, but if you can handle it it’s one of the best ways to see the city and skyline.
Great staff, great food, amazing view! I was nervous because of previous reviews but we had an amazing experience. Peytra was our server and she was so wonderful and very attentive. First we started with the shrimp tower, a first rate must have! The crab cake was really tasty, full of crab me and buttery flavor. The glazed salmon my husband liked and I ordered the prime rib, My order was cooked the way I asked was hot when it came and Peytra waited and suggested I cut into it to make sure it was right! It was. The Elevator ride was pleasant it is a quick ride but the operator turns it the light as you are moving to enhance the amazing view!
I took my mom to eat at the tower and our server Sammy was the best! It was our first time here, something I have been wanting to do for years. My moms steak that she ordered was supposed to be well done but it unfortunately had to be taken back 3 times. Nevertheless, our Server Sammy was the best! Sammy made it really worth it and was extremely helpful and one of the best servers we have ever had. Sammy was very personal and took the time to learn our names and go over the menu with us. If we ever go back I would love to have Sammy as our server again. The manager and other staff was also very helpful and kind.
