This place was amazing! I'm terribly sad that we don't have one in my home town. We were greeted by friendly wait staff, after we played around the entrance. I had a chicken sandwich that was absolutely massive and totally delicious. The jalapeño bun was amazing! My husband had some nachos and said they were pretty good. We shared some fried pickles that were cooked to perfection and super tasty. The salsa looks very strange, it's black in color but is so good! Also, they make their chips fresh so they come to the table nice and hot. They have a great beer selection, the prices are very reasonable and it's a great atmosphere! Super laid back hole in the wall and definitely worth a visit!
We were in town for a weekend and went here to watch some college football games. They had plenty of TV's, good bar food, and great service with very friendly staff. There was fantastic music playing followed by a pretty good yet mellow band. We had a lot of fun watching customers make their way into the bar as well. Great place to watch sports and grab some food.
It was my first time going at this bar and i loved it! The game the bouncer makes you play at the entrance is awesome, i had no idea what to expect, i only knew to play along! Staff is very friendly and fast-paced when serving you. There is a Food menu everything is only $5 (i had the fried pickles and pork sliders.) Drinks are at a great price as well, with a fun variety of different shots! Music is good. The crowd is perfect since it is not to packed. I will be coming back for a Saturday night
The bartender was playing her music all night in the playlist was absolutely fire. It's a bummer that the city is going to eminent domain this place away and steal Moses livelihood. Enjoy it while you can
Great food great service. If you're looking for a place off the beaten path. Fish tacos and burgers are very good. Definitely going back to try more on the menu
Looking for a lunch spot we found this little inconspicuous sign for Moses Rose's Hideout and decided to give it a shot because it had great Google Maps reviews. It definitely has a cool hideout kinda vibe and it's an awesome little place... They really like to mess with you just getting in the door with multiple activities, we had a lot of fun just messing around to get in lol.... There are other doors of course... The staff was really nice and very friendly and one of the managers came over and had a fun little conversation with little Tec and made a new friend. The burger was one of the best burgers I've ever had, the bun is toasted and sweet.... Sooo good!! Best meal so far in San Antonio! A must try!

Good food good drinks. The guy in the restroom is the best! The bartenders ha e have a hand so the drinks are good and strong. The atmosphere is laid back. Great place to go on the weekends.
Fun divish bar. Bartenders were super friendly and accommodating to watch any sports game. Fun was good too!
Overall, a really nice dive bar downtown San Antonio.
Service is great and bartenders we attentive. Nice attitude of the venue as soon as you walk in the door.
Looking forward to coming back for the live music they feature.
The staff was very welcoming, and offered helpful hints, for what to see and do. Great tasting and original drinks! Didn't eat there but the manager brought out generous samples of the food and it was all very delicious! Wish I didn't eat lunch first! We'll done, fun, great conversation and laughs. Will definitely be back.
We were tired, thirsty and hungry Missourians looking for a cold brew and real Texas barbecue with all the fixings. Looks are deceiving from the outside of this place, we almost kept walking. When we stepped inside, the atmosphere was welcoming and laid back. The margarita the bartender made was outa this world and the beer was cold. The bartender/waiter did an excellent job and we could tell he loved his job. The food was excellent, the best in Texas for us! We had tried several. Barbecue brisket, baked beans and loaded potato salad was to die for. Whoever their cook is, they were awesome, and we thank you. The hospitality was warm and inviting. I cannot say enough good things about this place. We can't wait to return on our next vacation and plus enjoy some live music next time! Mark and Jewel Bergin, Independence, MO
We went for a guided walking ghost tour hosted by the bar. It included food. It was ok/good for pub fare... That's the only slight that I can remember. The bar and the people were awesome. We had mixed drinks and everyone was in the zone. It was my turn to DD but still had an awesome experience. I'm looking forward to coming back.
