Love it!! We stopped for lunch by the river at Republic of TX! The tables are right on the river with fans overhead! The view was beautiful and the food was amazing! Everything was done well, the server was fabulous, and the manager was outstanding! I’m allergic to garlic, but they have a fresh kitchen, and they were very accommodating! They even made me French Fries without using the fryer! Tonya is amazing!! Thanks for an amazing experience and meal; it was delicious!! �
Our server Paul was the bomb! Great personality. Even though we weren’t eating he tried his best to upsell. The margarita turned into a Golden, the Crown turned into a double, etc. Wish I could bring him back to my restaurant in Wisconsin- Re-Pete’s Saloon & Grill. Nice being able to sit near the river and people watch.
Returned to eat dinner later because of our first visit- Paul had just left so we lucked out by having “the old lady” Cindy. She did a superb job with our table of 10. Everyone enjoyed the food. Even picked up some of their signature hot sauce for the trip home.
Great! One of my colleagues suggested this place. Upon seating, I was kind of skeptical because the menu wasn’t what was expected. I love eating steak with a creamy horseradish sauce (that rot did not have). So, I ordered my steak and asked the waiter for the main ingredients to make my own. Upon returning, the waiter said he looked up a recipe and will have if ready for me with my steak. Now that’s service! The sauce wasn’t something of norm at the restaurant but our waiter made it happen - and it was delicious. I will be revisiting and referring rot for the service alone. 5 stars!
