First time eating at Brenda's yesterday and I was not disappointed with the food and the prices were reasonable. I found me a hidden gem. So I'll be driving more often to the south side from the Northside to enjoy this delicious food.
My grandsom has never eaten meat. We ordered hom a grolled cheese. At first I thought they got my order wrong. Then I saw the chhese in between 2 buns. So my grandson cals it a "burger-cheese". We've gone back 3 times in 3 weeks. Should give me a frequent visitor card, lol.
Plus the burgets are the best!
Came from medical center area after reading reviews on our quest for SA's best burger. Well worth the trip. Had 2 cheese burgers w/bacon & grilled onions, large french fries & onion rings. Wow..crispy, well made, nongreasy FF/OR. Burgers were great, juicy and flavorful. We will be back. Give them a try 😉.

What can I say.... Your burgers are amazing. I had the Berrys Special with Bacon 🥓 on it. It was so good I didn't even need the bacon. Perfectly done, deliciously flavored, toasted bun. You know, in an alternate universe Brenda's is a mainstay and has more locations than McDonald's.
Don't know if I have room for a shake. But once I let this digest for five minutes, I'm going to go back up there and order a milkshake 🥤.
Btw, Liz is a tremendously patient and amazingly helpful employee. She gets five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ herself.

Pos check it out ey…this place is so good that not only did I throw down a juicy dbl chili bacon cheeseburger w grilled jales (jalapeños) con a side of onion rangs that were crispier than a new pair heavy starched Dickies shorts BUUUUT THEN I had the bombest chili cheese fries too, so good they should be called “yo gots to CHILLi Fries” Food is FRESHER than FRESH PRINCE, staff is super nice nice…but that food tho made a me a “loyal to the soil” custy 4 Liiiiife!!!! #telosiccogood
A hole in the wall joint with very good old fashion burger, fries and onion ringer. Food came of quick. The fish burger is recommended. Better than the average fast food place. People are nice and thorough. It a place I would go again.
First time for almost 10 years that I haven’t gone there till today because of my work. I stopped going there because the cook wasn’t good as burger was burnt and hard to chewed it out but now it’s whole a lot different than I expected. Burger was delicious again as surprised. I’ll definitely will go back there again with family. The staffs was super friendly as respect. Thank you!

Very down home. The food is pretty great and really tasty. Nothing fancy, just straightforward burgers, fries, and chili. It's kind of loud with the speed orders between the front counter and those manning the grill. But that's what keeps them efficient and it's part of the ambiance now. Nice greasy soon type stuff. Love.
I came to Brenda's Burgers for the onion rings. They did not disappoint. My husband ordered a double meat burger and he said it was good. I ordered a grilled cheese and honestly it was horrible. It was in hamburher buns with 1 slice of cheese. I don't recommend the grilled cheese at all. The srawberry shake is good!!!!
Really good burgers and super affordable. I’m so glad I can support a local restaurant and get really good burgers that are better than any chain out there. Employees were nice, and we got our food quickly
Stopped by for lunch today. I ordered a large burger with cheese and bacon, fries and a soda. My burger was juicy and flavorful with a good meat-to-bun ratio. The fries were crispy fresh from the fryer. My soda refill cost 50¢ extra, which was a surprise.
