Always consistent, always great! I drive from Dallas a couple times year. I call ahead and they freeze 20 dozen for me. All my friends and I agree, best tamales around! Perfect masa to meat proportion. Great flavor, never dry. No need for salsa. If you buy frozen, allow them to completely thaw in the fridge before warming. If using a microwave to warm you should wrap them in a towel so they stream. Thanks Tellez! See you soon!

Let me tell you, every time visit San Antonio I have to stop at Tellez. The food and the staff are outstanding. I only eat tamales from here. I stay and have breakfast, gotta get here early because they run out quick. Most time is standing room only. Keep it up Tellez !!!

Super friendly, great service! The food was ALL EXCELLENT, we tried barbacoa, tamales, refried beans, menudo, Papa ranchera, Carne a La Mexicana. Heck even the Tea had a great taste! Totally worth a drive for me. Never met Brenda or Mr. Tellez before this Saturday and it was like we've known them our whole lives! New Compadres!
