This place is a hidden gem. Not far from Sea World or the Hyatt hotels on Military Drive.
We were the only gringos in the place. The service & food were outstanding. Been to Mexico many times and would find the same down there, guaranteed.
Mula plate & the gorditas were awesome. Great salsas, too. We will return here!
You're given chips and red salsa when you sit down. The chips are nice and crispy. The red salsa is delicious with a hint of spice. The chicken gorditas came with rice and beans. The gorditas were delicious and tasted like what we've gotten in Mexico. The beans while good lacked a little in flavor. The mula plates beef was spectacular. The green sauce was spicy. Service was really good.
The food is always good; however, when I order the chillaquiles plate, the tortilla chips always taste rancid. It’s like they save the rancid chips for this dish. It may be good to do that at home, but not at a restaurant.
First time here, loved the breakfast tacos, my husband and son also approved. Its hard finding authentic mexican food for me especially coming from a border town like Laredo Tx. So definitely coming back. Love the salsas and the refried beans 10/10

Good food
First time here and had 2 breakfast tacos.. Food was delicious and very clean and friendly staff..we will return...taco loco was the best ever and so was our barbacoa ....
Small place, but love it! Atmospere feels like my tia's kitchen having breakfast with family.

I've eaten here a few times over the years while working in the area near the restaurant.
On one of my visits I ordered the chicken mole enchiladas. What was interesting was the
mole recipe at this restaurant is one of the more authentic Mexican and south american recipes that
uses a rich cocoa in the mole. It took me by surprise when I first tasted it.
Many people I worked with in the area told me they recommended the place for breakfast tacos and plates.
I have never tried any of the breakfast items.
The prices here are average for small Mexican restaurants, service is quick, and
portion sizes are good. I would eat here on lunch many times and never experienced
a long wait to get my food.
