Great place for some not so normal burgers. The health department rating here was 97. Clean and comfy place.
But Now it's closed permamnently.
Definitely a memorable dining experience. Every single employee was friendly, helpful and attentive. Exceptional and consistent customer service that is rare even in five star restaurants. Thank you for the souvenir and a great end to my family's vacation.
This is place is like Burger King (which I love their burgers) meets Buffalo Wild Wings. What I mean by that is the inside is just as cool as a sports bar. On this particular visit (my first visit) to this location, the wait staff was very nice and accommodating. Pleasant music and a nice outside patio with a nice view. I will definitely be coming back.
I was at the drive through the other day. I was rating Carl's Jr. about average with other drive through fast food places. This time there was a young lady named Julie, that paid attention to the order, was very efficient, and she did something that no other window person has ever done and she asked me was I a senior or military. I said I was both and she gave me a discount. I have been going infrequently to this location every since it was built and she is the first person to ever ask me this.
To me that spoke volumes about her as an employee and her customer service. She was friendly and made you feel welcome! As far as I am concerned she saved you a customer that you would have lost as her attitude made all the difference in the world!
Too bad Whataburger is so entrenched in san antonio. Carl's did have great flame grilled burgers at reasonable prices. Franchisee will close this store Christmas eve and not reopen.
Although frequently understaffed, the food is always delicious and the employees are friendly. The restaurant is always clean and tidy during our visits. This is one of our favorites!
