Bold flavors, well cooked and interesting, eclectic plates. Food tastes fresh and wholesome, and there is a good variety. Plates packed a lot of flavor too. Do note, the prices on google are not reflective of the actual prices (they’ve gone up a few dollars). Recommend the Brazil Bowl and Diablo Chicken.
My friend recommended Isabel's to me and Im glad I came. It was 6:30 on a Thursday, lots of seating, it picked up later. The atmosphere and decor was very cool, clean, a mix of Asian and woods, it was relaxing and comfortable. The service was superb, quick and friendly, kudos! The food was amazing, very fresh and flavorful. We started with the chili lime cucumber, which was so good. Simple but very delicious and fresh. I had the pepitas crusted catch of the day and it was so good. The fish was flaky and cooked to perfection on kale and grilled brown rice. It all was a delicious bite when I added the sauce that came one the side. My friend had tacos with catch of the day and he enjoyed it very much. Thank you for the great service and fresh food!
The French toast wasn’t good- the bread was hard and not flavorful and just overall mediocre... which is really unfortunate because the others were good.
The avocado scramble was good tho, it’s like a decomposed omelette- the avocado on top of egg and melted cheese was good. 5 stars
The Mexican cold brew was great too
I’ll give them the benefit of doubt and just say to stay away from the French toast!
Delicious, unique fusions of flavors. I ordered the Buddha Bowl and a glass of ginger carrot juice. The drink tasted of carrots with a squeeze of lime and just enough ginger to refresh and revive. I added carnitas to the bowl for a combination of Mexican and Asian, and it was delish.
My date ordered the chili relleno and said it was perfectly spiced and cooked.
Service was friendly and efficient, and the place is simply lovely. Try it yourself!
My goto favorite restaurant whenever I come to visit San Diego!! Such a healthy and delicious fusion of flavors, created from a unique blend of Mexican and Asian cuisine.
The food is served with a smile in a relaxed casual atmosphere, frequented by lots of locals. Sometimes there can be a bit of a wait on weekends, but your tummy will be glad you did.

Had a lovely breakfast at Isabel's with my daughter. This was our first time dining here and once we walked through the doors we were impressed. Honestly the exterior looks like the restaurant is closed or run down but inside is lovely and the food was amazing! A must try and we will be going back!
Have traditional Chinese food all my life, this is a few us style restaurants I find that very good for me! We tried the favourite dinner, the roast chicken and fish are both delicious with very yummy sauces.
This place was amazing! Not just the food but the customer service as well. The food was absolutely phenomenal. I also got the michelada it was really good if I could give this place 6 stars I would.
Chopped salad with marinated tofu and soy rizo. Sooo tasty and crunchy add avocado, citrus cilantro vinaigrette. Great service and tasty drinks.
