Wow the ambiance of this restaurant is on point. You will feel like a celebrity again when you pull up and see the other Lambos and McLaren parked out at the valet. Enter through a nice tunnel and then see the rope-focused bar that takes center stage. Good service and good food. The drinks were even better.

Nice decoration. Great service. Delicious food. This is a nice place to meet up friends for a relaxing lunch on a Friday. They brought water, chips and salsa as we sat down. The chips were thin and crispy. The salsa had medium heat, just right for me. I opted for the Carnitas based on reading Yelp reviews. Nice presentation of food. The meat was really tender and juicy. We all liked our food.

This restaurant has amazing ambience! The food is really good! Our server was great! The luxury vehicles parked in front are nice. The music they play is hits from different genres. The restaurant decor is really nice. It’s a whole experience here. The drinks are strong in a way that it sneaks up on you. Tasted very good. My family and I all enjoyed our dishes which are pictured in this review. The Fajita is really tender! I was shocked. The flour tortillas are a perfect compliment. I enjoyed my experience here. I would definitely recommend. I look forward to coming back here. I’m not agreeing with the 1 star people. Yes, the food is expensive. Yes, the music is loud and plays all genres of music. It is not too loud to where you need to yell at your table. You see the reviews and see that it is an expensive restaurant before you even make a reservation. The negative reviews are INVALID. You knew exactly what you were getting into.

I've been to quite a few "high-end" Mexican restaurants and have often been disappointed, finding better food at modest "mom & pop" joints. But Javier's delivers the goods, with really tasty entrees. And that classic barometer, the quality of complimentary table salsa and chips, also scores well. The salsa is fresh and quite zingy, just chunky enough and not too watery. I had our leftover salsa packed to go when we left because I didn't want to waste a drop. Table service was friendly and efficient. Only the atmosphere is less than ideal: as usual with so many popular high-end places, way too noisy and tables packed a bit too close. But it was tolerable; didn't have to wear my earplugs. If you like the busy high-energy feel, you'll love it! And very impressive architecture and decor with soaring wooden beams. A fun place with genuinely good food overall!

On a Wednesday night this place was pumping — girls night out, date night, guys night out, business dinner, you name it. The seating is snug (tables are close to each other) but you don’t mind because the ceiling is so high, there is a mega fan turning and the set-up is partial Al fresco patio dining meets meets dark cave. Lots of drama here with the decor like a lava pillar, ropes suspended across the ceiling and ending at the center bar console. Service: fast to get chips and salsa, water refills, drinks, food, etc. We were in and out of here including dessert within 1:20. Drinks: meh considering you are paying ~20 for a drink, too much ice. Food: divine (great flavors and presentation). I have a new bar for upscale modern Mexican. It is hard to hold a conversation if you are a family or group of non-loud talkers but the experience is unique.

Food: We had the beef taquitos for the appetizer. It was tastefully presented and delicious. For the mains, we went with the chipotle chicken and the fajitas. The waitress was really nice and suggested her own spin on the chipotle chicken with the boneless chicken option and added spices. Glad I went with that option! We ordered the churros to share for the dessert. One of the churros had an oily aftertaste but the rest were fine. Ambience: The bar area seemed super busy on a Friday night. The music is loud. We were seated in the table area beside the entrance away from the chatter (thankfully!). However they have weird tables that don't allow space to put your feet underneath and for the whole night we were trying to get comfortable but instead knocking our knees on the table.

My wife & I were in town for our anniversary and I’m glad we chose Javier’s! It was absolutely delicious. From the appetizers to dessert. I have zero complaints. The service was also stellar! You can taste the freshness in all of the ingredients. Definitely will be back.

If I could give the food and service more stars, I would. We had Alfonso as a server and he was simply amazing. Went above and beyond to make my birthday dinner exceptional, while we were visiting from Seattle. Something to mention, if you order La Tablita, it definitely serves at least 4 people! But it was absolutely delicious!!!

We’ve eaten at the one in Aria Las Vegas before, so we knew what to expect. This Javier’s didn’t disappoint either and the option to sit outside in the pleasant San Diego weather was a bonus. I had the Lobster Enchiladas, which were amazing. Also had the flan for dessert which was fantastic. This place gets busy, so reservations recommended.
