Visited on a whim, immediately impressed with the layout. Only complaint, and it was minor, was the ordering counter. There was a small 5-10 minute wait to let them take your order, not bad just FYI.
The food was excellent I really liked this style of crust on pizza, almost flaky, and had a good crisp with a slight crunch. I had the carnitas, wife had the Maui, and son ate a small cheese. I tasted all three and each was equally good.
Absolutely recommend Woodstock’s, will go again myself soon.
My favorite pizza place in San Diego by far! The atmosphere is really fun and the employees are so nice. I like that there is an equal amount of sauce as goodies on top and that you can create your own pizza with option of gluten-free crusts!
Also a great spot for the late night munchies- they deliver until 3 am : )

Five stars are for the onions on top of our pizza, though. All of the toppings and sauce were good but these were the best onions I've ever eaten. And I've eaten my fair share of straight raw onions, so I know. Perfectly juicy, a little smoky from the grill, just cooked enough they were the perfect texture and taste. Not too onion-y but not a limp, tasteless worm like cooked onions often are.
Also, juicy shrooms.
I ordered the Kickin' Carnitas and it was very good, probably one of the most flavorful pizzas I've ever had. That sauce is a kick in the mouth. The pizza had Carnitas, bacon, red onion and cilantro. The crust was good. They fold the sauce into the crust. Pretty cool. The price was reasonable and my order was ready when I arrived.
Came here right after landing in San Diego. My flight was delayed as well as late. Stumbled across this spot with not much time to spare. They were getting ready to close. Although they were closing the service and food was great and I didn't feel rushed.
Mmmmhhh!!! Very very good! I’m a pizza fanatic I don’t discriminate against any za. We got the personal pepperoni and the one more with the meat cilantro and onion. I wish I could remember the name but regardless it was very good. I would come back and recommend. And the environment was pretty cool I liked the employee and the music they were playing!
I have a 2 picky kids and Woodstock's has been a big hit! They love the pizza and Apple Juice option. The video game selection is a favorite as well. The staff is always friendly and it's a great place for families and kids.
