Atmosphere is great. I ordered the chicken skewers. It was a bit spicy. I should of ready the menu a little more carefully. This place gets 4 stars since they took forever to get our food out to us. I also feel as though for what I paid I should of at least got a side with my order.

Went here last night for some apps. They literally opened the night before aka 7/20/17. This spot anyway. So the menu was limited but good. Had the guacamole and chips and ceviche. My comments: chips were really good. Fresh. Guacamole was really good but not plentiful. Charge me two bucks more and load it up. Ceviche was enough for two to share as a small appetizer but was served for one person. It was good, not great. Fish was really fresh so the not great part came from the lack of spectacularity of the dish. Drinks were good, nice and strong. Location was clean and service was good and friendly. We'll be back for a more thorough experience when the menu gets completed. I think they pushed up the opening for Comic Con, and I don't blame them. Lots of business even with a small menu. Good luck!

Vegan menu is amazing! Tofu scramble, soyrizo and guacamole was delicious! I dont even like mushrooms but I ate all the ones mixed with the soyrizo bc they were so flavorful. Bottomless mimosas with fresh OJ. Will go back!

This spot will exceed your expectations for a place named Patron's Corner. The owner, Paul, is passionate about customer service and his products. Great drinks and excellent food!

Great food and fabulous staff! This is the perfect place for happy hour in the Gas Lamp. We shared appetizers and their delicious guacamole, pair with wine and margaritas so everyone in our group got exactly what they wanted. We had attended a matinee at the Horton Grand Theater and Patron's Corner is literally steps away. We will definitely be back. The service was excellent and the owner very accommodating. Loved it!

A unique little place just off the main part of the Gaslamp District. The service was great and the food was very authentic. We went later in the evening and caught their late happy hour so prices on food and drinks were very good. Definitely try their salsa selection. Knocked one star off because it was very warm inside the restaurant and kind of took away from the experience. They either don't have A/C or didn't have it on. It's a cool, authentic place but if it's warm maybe sit outside.

Went for brunch (?) after looking around for a while in the area. Saw a Mexican restaurant with outdoor seating and decided to pop in. Definitely too early to look at their extensive liquor list so I can't speak to its quality but their menu was short, but concise. I ended up getting the Patron Benedict and it was absolutely delicious. The waitstaff was attentive and friendly. When I finished my meal, my waiter, who saw me as a tourist, offered some local advice for other places worth visiting in the area.

My wife and I stopped in for a drink while walking the gas lamp area. We had such a wonderful time chatting with owner that we returned 2 days later for dinner. The carnitas burrito I had was phenomenal. My wife loved her enchiladas and, as before, the owner was an incredible host. His knowledge of tequilas and wine is impressive and his storytelling even more so. I highly recommend stopping in if you are ever downtown San Diego. If I didn't live on the other side of the country, I would certainly be a regular.

The drinks and food were amazing, along with the service. The staff was friendly and authentic. They made the most amazing drinks, one was to die for. ..a spicy mezcal mule! The other, a really refreshing pineapple Margarita. We had breakfast there because it was past noon on a Saturday, and while all the other restaurants were finishing up brunch, they served it until 3pm! This was a real score because the food was amazing too. I loved the shrimp omelet (bonus for gf peeps, the house potatoes are cooked without wheat!). Definitely will go back again and try more on the menu.
