Cant say enough good things about Beyers Deli. The level of customer service is unmatched. They are the best hands down. The sandwiches are some of the best in San Diego. Not sure how this sites giving them an overall 3.1 rating when every review is 4.5 or higher. Get it together Zomato
Great customer service, but more importantly among the best deli sandwiches in SD. Don't walk in there with a warrant though because it's a law enforcement favorite.
Best sandwich place in the whole county!! The Italian sub is the best, I think. But all the sandwiches are fantastic. Too bad it's only open Monday thru Friday
I just had the BEST salad here! It was so fresh and tasty!! Can't wait for the next time!! Such a great place to eat!! Try it, you'll LOVE IT!!
By far the best sandwiches in San Diego county! My favorite breakfast is the "eye opener", a high quality breakfast sandwich with an unbelievable low price. It is addictive. For lunch try the "south of the border"
PASTRAMI FALLS FLAT IN AN OTHERWISE DELIGHTFUL DELI
Memories of good times with co-workers often happened here. Located in South Bay San Diego. Very close to the 905 highway. I had not been here in a few years but the owner remembered me. She said, "Oh you used to come here on Fridays." Those were the days when I thought lunch meetings would bring the team together and help us become more productive. Either way, I learned a lot about leadership do's and dont's. My go to were the BLTA and Turkey and avocado sandwiches. Both were good.
PASTRAMI SANDWICH HYPE
Since there's been a lot of hype about the pastrami sandwiches, I decided to come here and try it. I love the smokey saltiness with juicy dill pickles. The sandwich was topped with more meat than fixins' -winning. I had two extra pickles - winning. And the toasted sourdough bread was perfect! All complemented with mesquite kettle chips. Oh how a fountain drink would top this off. But there were only cans so I drove 2 miles away to make sure I had a good fountain orange soda. Oh yes I'm serious. I want to dig in this.
To my dismay, the pastrami was flat. Lean meat with no flavor. My infamous French grey sea couldn't save the flavor. Dratz. I will return back to what I know is delicious. I'm certain if I had taken my sandwich back they would have replaced it but I paid for what I ordered and that's part of the honor system.
HIGH FIVES
Service is still top notch. Because they love customers and they love serving us with delicious food.

The best sandwiches here. I have tried several different ones and each is better than the other. Generous portions and great atmosphere. A great lunch spot!
Best Deli in the South Bay. Well, only deli for miles around. A place this good and this popular should not be a cash only establishment. I've tried many of their sandwiches and I've liked them all. They forgot to charge me my daughter's soda so I told the owner and he said, "It's on me!" They are super nice here and don't forget to try the brownies.
I read that this Deli was rated #4 in the nation by Yelp so I drove down from Mission Valley to check it out. It is a simple place and cash only so be aware of that. However, the staff is super nice, the pastrami sandwich and potato salad was very delicious, highly recommended.
The owner was very pleasant. My wife and I split a Reuben sandwich. It was well worth the money. They did not skimp on your corn beef. Very lean not fatty. We had it on a roll which was great. The sandwich was very good. We've been looking for a good sandwich place, I know we found it. There was a news interview with the owners daughter that convinced us to try the deli out and it was well worth it. If you don't know where it is you'll never find it. It's hidden in the back of a mall. But it's well worth the find. Try it out. We'll be back to try the other items. 😋👌🤠
The place I have been to in a long time … the owners were fast and very nice I am so pleased with the deli … I will definitely come back!
The #4 and #16 ( turkey bacon avocado and pastrami, respectively) were the BEST sandwiches I have ever had. Pastrami was melt in your mouth GREAT! They got some weird hours and ONLY take cash, but well worth it. It only took me 3 times to catch them open. I guess that increased the anticipation, making fabulous the whole experience. I shoulda gotten there way before.....!!!
The lady who works the register is always friendly and goes above and beyond. She always has a smile on. The food tastes great, they really fill it up. As I write this im craving some. Guess tomorrow I know what lunch will be. Just be aware that they only take cash.
First time eating at this south bay hidden gem. Service was awesome and the food was super tasty. Tripple decker club sandwich was 💣 and the lentil soup was great. Cant wait to go back and try something different. Enjoy👍

Once I walked in I noticed how clean and sanitary this place is, also their food is very tasty. It is a small sandwich, soup and dessert shop with big flavors. I order a vegetarian sandwich and a chocolate chip cookie shake and it was very satisfying and tasty. To my surprise it was very busy and I had to wait like 15 minutes to be served but it was worth the wait. The people managing this place are doing a great job and for that they get 5 stars from me. Thanks for the food and the great service.
